Samebike C05 Pro Folding Fat Tire Step-Through E-Bike
Samebike C05 Pro: a Folding Fat-Tire Step-Thru Rated for 150 kg
The Samebike C05 Pro is a 20-inch folding step-through e-bike on 20 × 4″ fat tires, with a 350 W brushless hub motor (55+ N·m), a removable 36 V 13 Ah battery (468 Wh), a Shimano 7-speed, mechanical disc brakes, an adjustable front fork and seat suspension. Samebike Canada lists 32 km/h, 45–90 km of range, a 150 kg maximum load and a 31.5 kg (69.4 lb) bike that folds twice to 1.11 × 0.62 × 0.99 m. A front basket, a rear rack and fenders come with it.
Samebike’s own charts disagree on who it fits: 6′7″–8′3″ on Samebike Canada’s chart (as printed), 5′6″–6′9″ on its global and German charts and 66.93–82.68 in on its French chart, while its FAQ says it suits “any height”. The seat agrees everywhere within rounding: 32.3–38.2″ from the ground. Below are all of Samebike’s figures, every frame measurement, and how to check the fit with your own inseam.
Who it suits: riders who want a low frame to step through, fat tires that Samebike says suit “snow, beach, road, or flat mud”, a 150 kg rating for rider and cargo, and a bike that folds into a car trunk. It is not light: 31.5 kg, and one owner review on Samebike Canada calls it “too heavy”.

⚠️ Canadian legal note
Canada’s federal e-bike definition was repealed in 2021, and the rules are now provincial: they converge on a motor of 500 W or less, assistance that stops at 32 km/h (Nova Scotia’s 30 km/h ended on 19 October 2026) and working pedals. Provinces also set their own ages, helmet rules and throttle rules.
Samebike Canada lists the C05 Pro at 350 W and 32 km/h, and its manual at 20 mph (32 km/h), inside those limits; its product description says 500 W, which is at the 500 W limit. Samebike’s global, UK and German pages list the European version at 250 W and a 25 km/h default. Its French page lists 500 W and 35 km/h, and says the European 25 km/h default can be unlocked “to reach 35KM/H or higher” with instructions from customer service; the C05 Pro manual says owners “can also choose to remove the speed limit setting”. A bike that assists past 32 km/h is outside the limits the provincial rules converge on. We ship the C05 Pro as Samebike Canada ships it. Samebike Canada’s stock list for its Canadian warehouse (20 October 2026) gives “Limited Speed: 25km/h, Top speed 35km/h” and a motor marked “500W (250W500D)”; Samebike’s French page says that code is “encompassing both rated and peak power”. Samebike C05 Pro Size Chart: Rider Height, Seat Height and Every Dimension
Samebike publishes the C05 Pro’s fit on its Canadian page as a Size & Fit chart, a Size & Fit pop-up and a Specification tab, with an FAQ; its global, UK, German and French pages print their own charts, and its manual a specification table. We read them all on 22 October 2026. The seat height agrees within rounding everywhere (32.3–38.2″, or 820–970 mm on the French chart); the recommended rider height does not.
Will the C05 Pro fit you? Samebike’s numbers
Recommended rider height: Samebike prints four different ranges: 6′7″–8′3″ on Samebike Canada’s chart (as printed), 5′6″–6′9″ on its global and German charts (about 168–206 cm), 5′58″–6′89″ on its UK chart (as printed), and 66.93–82.68 in (170–210 cm) on its French chart, which adds “Recommended for people over 66.93 inches in height to use”. Its FAQ says the C05 Pro is “suitable for any height”.
Seat height (ground to the top of the saddle): 32.3–38.2″ (82–97 cm) on Samebike Canada’s chart and pop-up; 32.28–38.19″ on its global and German pop-ups; 820–970 mm on its French chart. Go by this and your inseam (below).
Bike weight: 31.5 kg (69.4 lb on the chart, 69 lb in the manual); Samebike’s French product description says 34 kg. Maximum load: 150 kg (330 lb), rider plus cargo, on the Canadian page, chart and manual; Samebike rates the rear rack for 25 kg.

How to Check the Fit Before You Order
- Go by the seat range, not the height range. Samebike’s four rider-height ranges do not agree; whether your leg works on the bike depends on the saddle. A review of the research on saddle height found the methods “varied and not well established” and suggested setting the saddle so the knee is bent 25–30° at the bottom of the pedal stroke (Bini, Hume and Croft, Sports Medicine, 2011; the paper →).
- Measure your inseam (floor to crotch, in socks, against a wall) and send it to us with your height. Samebike’s pages put the lowest seat setting at 32.2–32.3″ (820 mm on the French chart); we will check yours against them before you order: 1-866-938-7580.
- Plan for the lift. At 31.5 kg it is 3.5 kg heavier than the LOTDM200-II and the CY20 (28 kg each), and one owner review on Samebike Canada calls it “too heavy”. The battery comes out for charging.
- Check where it will live folded: 1.11 × 0.62 × 0.99 m on Samebike Canada’s figures; Samebike says the double fold (front and body) fits the trunk of a car.
Where Samebike’s Own Figures Differ
Samebike sells the C05 Pro on five of its storefronts. These figures differ between them; we print each with where it appears. Call us and we will confirm the one that matters to you against the unit we ship.

Why the C05 Pro Stands Apart in Our Samebike Line
The C05 Pro is a step-thru that folds and rides on 20 × 4″ fat tires, like the LOTDM200-II, and Samebike rates it for 150 kg, 30 kg more than the LOTDM200-II’s 120 kg.
- Rated 150 kg for rider and cargo on Samebike Canada’s spec tab, chart (330 lb) and manual, with a rear rack Samebike rates for 25 kg on its own.
- A basket, a rack and fenders. Samebike Canada’s page includes fenders and a front basket free with the C05 Pro, and the rear rack comes on the bike.
- Two layers of cushioning on fat tires: an adjustable front fork that locks for smooth roads, plus seat suspension, on 20 × 4″ tires Samebike says suit snow, beach, road or flat mud.
- The trade-offs are weight and power: 31.5 kg (34 kg in Samebike’s French description), 3.5 kg more than the LOTDM200-II and the CY20 (28 kg each), and 350 W against the LOTDM200-II’s 500 W on Samebike Canada’s spec tabs.
What’s in the Box
- The bike, its battery charger and Samebike’s tools (three large wrenches, five Allen wrenches and a screwdriver): the box contents on the unpacking page of Samebike’s C05 Pro manual. Samebike’s French page lists the 36 V 13 Ah battery and the user manual in the box too.
- To fit at assembly, in the manual’s order: the handlebar, the headlight and fenders, the front wheel, the saddle, the basket and front headlights, and the pedals. Samebike’s installation video is above, and your first month of Zeus Care includes assembly walkthroughs by phone or video.
- Fenders and a front basket, the free accessories Samebike Canada’s page includes with the C05 Pro. They ship with your order.
Samebike’s page: “All free Accessories are not covered by warranty service”.

Key Features

- Lights, display and charging — front and rear LED lights (Samebike UK), an LCD display for speed, battery, distance and assist level, a USB port (5 V, 1 A in the manual) and an electric horn (manual).
- Shimano 7-speed and mechanical disc brakes, on a 6061 aluminium frame, with an ergonomic saddle Samebike describes as “specially made for pressure relief”.
The Honest Take: What to Know Before You Buy
- Samebike’s rider-height ranges do not agree. Its Canadian chart prints 6′7″–8′3″, its global chart 5′6″–6′9″ and its French chart 66.93–82.68 in, while its FAQ says “any height”. The seat range is consistent (32.3–38.2″), so send us your inseam and height before ordering and we will check them against it.
- It is heavy for a folder. 31.5 kg on Samebike Canada’s page (34 kg in Samebike’s French description). One review on Samebike Canada says “too heavy” and that the screen is “hard to read” in sunlight.
- Samebike prints the motor three ways (350 W on its Canadian spec tab, 500 W in its product descriptions, 250 W on its European pages), and its French page and manual describe removing the speed limit. The legal note above quotes how Samebike Canada ships it: limited to 25 km/h, with a 35 km/h top speed.
- Range is quoted from 30 to 90 km. Samebike Canada gives 45–90 km and, on the same page, “up to 45 km” in PAS 1; its manual gives 60–70 km on pedal assist and 30–35 km on the throttle alone. Our planning estimate is in the specifications.
If those fit how you ride (a step-thru that folds, on fat tires, carrying up to 150 kg), the C05 Pro gives you the LOTDM200-II’s step-thru fat-tire fold with a 150 kg rating instead of 120 kg.

Who Is the C05 Pro For?
- Riders who want to step through, not over — a low frame on 20 × 4″ fat tires. Step-through e-bikes →
- Commuters with a car, condo or RV — Samebike: it “can be stored in the trunk of a car” and “can also be carried for travel”. More folding e-bikes →
- Riders who carry things — a 150 kg rating, a front basket and a rear rack rated 25 kg.
- Year-round riders — fat tires for snow, and a battery that comes off to charge indoors (the winter answer below explains why). Winter e-bike guide →
Who it’s NOT for: anyone who must lift the bike often (31.5 kg; the 20LVXD30-II is 25 kg); riders who want the stronger motor and battery (the LOTDM200-II: 500 W and 48 V 13 Ah, rated 120 kg); riders who want a rear shock (the RS-A02 Pro); and anyone who rides in heavy rain often, which Samebike’s own FAQ advises against.

Eight Samebike bikes at Zeus, sized by Samebike’s own charts. Each figure comes from Samebike Canada’s Size & Fit chart and spec tab, read 19 October 2026 (the C05 Pro’s on 22 October 2026); where another Samebike page prints a different figure, it is shown in small type underneath. Seat height is measured from the ground to the top of the saddle, at its lowest and highest settings. “Pages differ”: Samebike Canada’s M20 spec tab says the bike folds, while Samebike’s global, UK and Australian M20 pages say it does not. Folded sizes are Samebike Canada’s, converted from metres. Sources: Samebike Canada product pages, read 19 October 2026 (the C05 Pro’s on 22 October 2026); Zeus eBikes Canada.

Warranty and Zeus Care
Your Samebike C05 Pro is backed by Samebike in full, on Samebike Canada’s own published terms (read 19 October 2026): the frame for 3 years, and batteries, motors and other accessories for 1 year, for the original owner, from the day the original owner receives the bike. Samebike describes the battery cover as a 1-year prorated warranty, and a frame claim covers a replacement frame only (labour to move parts across is not included). Free parts that come with the bike are not covered, and neither is a stolen bike. Samebike’s product page for this bike also prints “12 Months Warranty” (“our manufacturer’s 12 months warranty for the original owner against all manufacturing defects”); its warranty policy is the longer of the two for the frame.
Not covered, in Samebike’s words: damage from accident, abuse, misuse or abnormal use, improper storage, exposure to liquid or chemicals, ordinary wear and tear, cosmetic damage, and damage from assembly, maintenance or repair that varies from Samebike’s instructions.
Zeus handles the claim with Samebike for you, and your first month of Zeus Care is included: we diagnose the problem, file the claim and follow it up, and assembly walkthroughs by phone or video are part of it. Zeus Care plans continue that service for $119 (1 year), $229 (2 years), $339 (3 years) or $599 (5 years); Zeus Care is a service, not a warranty, and does not add coverage (prices in CAD, October 2026). Frequently Asked Questions
What riders ask about the C05 Pro
What height rider does the Samebike C05 Pro fit?
Samebike’s charts disagree: 6′7″–8′3″ on Samebike Canada’s chart (as printed), 5′6″–6′9″ on its global and German charts and 66.93–82.68 in on its French chart; its FAQ says “any height”. The seat goes from 32.3″ to 38.2″ on Samebike Canada’s chart and within a tenth of an inch of that on Samebike’s other charts, so check your inseam against it and send it to us with your height (1-866-938-7580). Full size chart →
How much does the C05 Pro weigh, and how much can it carry?
31.5 kg on Samebike Canada’s page (69.4 lb on its chart, 69 lb in its manual); Samebike’s French product description says 34 kg, and Samebike Canada’s stock list for its Canadian warehouse gives 33 kg net. Maximum load is 150 kg (330 lb), rider plus cargo, and Samebike rates the rear rack for 25 kg.
Will the C05 Pro fit in my car trunk?
Samebike says its double folding design (front and body folded) can be stored in the trunk of a car, folded to 1110 × 620 × 990 mm (43.7″ × 24.4″ × 39″). Measure your trunk against that, and plan on 31.5 kg to lift.
Can I ride the C05 Pro in the rain?
Samebike’s own answer is to avoid heavy rain, which it says “may affect battery life and reduce traction”. Its FAQ says the whole bike meets IP54 and the motor, battery and display IP64; its manual says IP54.
Is the battery removable, and how long does it take to charge?
Yes: Samebike says “Its removable battery can be easily charged anywhere”. Samebike Canada and the manual give 6–8 hours to charge, and Samebike UK 4–6; the charger puts out 42 V at 2 A. For a spare or replacement battery, call us at 1-866-938-7580. Battery care in the cold →
How far does the C05 Pro go on a charge?
Samebike Canada gives 45–90 km and, on the same page, “up to 45 km” and “Up To 90KM” in pedal-assist level 1 (tested with a 75 kg rider on a flat road). Its manual gives 60–70 km on pedal assist and 30–35 km on the throttle alone; Samebike UK says 45 km on electric power only and 90 km at most. For planning we divide the battery’s watt-hours by 30 for a hard day and by 15 for an easy one: the 36 V 13 Ah pack (468 Wh) plans at 16–31 km. That is our estimate, not Samebike’s figure. How we plan range →
Is the C05 Pro legal in Canada, and can its speed be unlocked?
Samebike Canada lists 350 W and 32 km/h (20 mph in its manual), inside the limits the provincial rules converge on. Samebike’s French page says its European 25 km/h default can be unlocked “to reach 35KM/H or higher”, and the manual says owners “can also choose to remove the speed limit setting”; a bike that assists past 32 km/h is outside those limits. Provinces add their own ages, helmet rules and throttle rules. Canadian e-bike laws →
Is the C05 Pro motor 250, 350 or 500 watts?
It depends on the Samebike page. Samebike Canada’s spec tab says 350 W, and its product description “500W”; Samebike’s global, UK and German spec tabs say 250 W for the European version, while its French page and the product descriptions on its global and German pages say 500 W. Every page gives 55+ N·m of torque where it lists torque. Samebike Canada’s stock list for its Canadian warehouse, which the bike we ship comes from, marks the motor “500W (250W500D)”, a code Samebike’s French page says is “encompassing both rated and peak power”.
Are there reviews of the Samebike C05 Pro?
Samebike Canada’s page shows 7 reviews averaging 4.4, with AI-selected highlights such as “Very comfortable with excellent build quality” and “The ride is very smooth! Wide seat and super comfortable steering”. The concerns in those reviews: “too heavy”, a screen “hard to read” in sunlight, and one owner’s rear axle that “had a clicking noise” at first and “seems to have put itself into its groove”. For an independent English video, RustySkull Productions posted “SAMEBIKE C05 PRO Folding E-Bike Review After a Month!” on YouTube in May 2025.
Where can I find the C05 Pro manual?
Samebike publishes it as a PDF: C05 Pro user manual → It covers unpacking and specifications, the nine assembly steps, the display and its buttons, and the warranty policy.
How hard is assembly?
The manual lists nine steps, from the handlebar, headlight and fenders to the pedals, battery and fold, and Samebike’s installation video is on this page. Your first month of Zeus Care includes assembly walkthroughs by phone or video: 1-866-938-7580.
What warranty comes with the C05 Pro?
Samebike backs the Samebike C05 Pro in full on Samebike Canada’s published terms: its warranty policy covers the frame for 3 years, and batteries, motors and other accessories for 1 year (the battery on a prorated basis), and its product page says 12 months; for the original owner. Zeus files and follows up the claim with Samebike for you, and your first month of Zeus Care is included. Warranty details →
How long does delivery take?
Free shipping anywhere we deliver in Canada. Orders are processed in 1–3 business days after we confirm them, then take 2–7 business days in transit depending on where you live, and the tracking number comes by email. Can I ride the C05 Pro in winter?
For lithium-ion cells, Battery University’s BU-410 table permits discharge, which is riding, from −20 °C to 60 °C and charging only from 0 °C to 45 °C: “No charge permitted below freezing.” Samebike’s French store, on its spare-battery page, says to charge the battery only indoors, in a dry place, neither too hot nor too cold (our translation). So bring the battery inside after a cold ride and let it warm up before you charge it. Our winter e-bike guide covers tires, storage and charging through a Canadian winter →
How can I finance it?
