LED Reflective Safety Vest
LED Reflective Safety Vest — So Drivers See You Before It Matters
The most dangerous part of an eBike commute is the part where a driver doesn't see you. This vest fixes that with two layers of visibility at once: active front and rear LED lighting that catches the eye in motion, and reflective banding that lights up the second a headlight hits it.
It's built for the reality of riding in Canada — where it's dark by 4:30 in December and half your commute home happens under streetlights. The LEDs run in three modes (steady, fast flash, slow flash), the whole thing is IPX4 splash-resistant for rain and road spray, and it charges over a rechargeable battery so there's nothing to keep replacing.

What It Does
- Front & rear LED lighting — light pointing both ways, so you're visible to traffic coming toward you and approaching from behind.
- Three modes — steady for a constant presence, fast flash to grab attention in heavy traffic, slow flash to stretch battery on quieter routes.
- Reflective banding — passive visibility that needs no power; the moment a car's headlights land on you, you light up.
- IPX4 splash-resistant — handles rain and road spray from any direction, so a wet ride doesn't end the night.
- Rechargeable — a built-in battery you top up and reuse, with no coin cells or AAAs to keep buying.
- Adjustable, worn over clothing — straps cinch over a jacket in winter or a jersey in summer.
- Three colours — black, pink, and fluorescent green. The fluorescent green is the loudest in daylight and dusk.
Why Visibility Is the Cheapest Upgrade You'll Make
You can spend thousands on a bike and still be invisible at the one moment that counts — a driver glancing left at a dim intersection. A bike's headlight and tail light sit low and can blend into parked cars and street clutter. A vest puts light and reflective material up at torso height, where a driver's eyes actually are, and the movement of pedalling makes the LEDs read as a person rather than a parked reflector. It's the smallest line on the receipt and the one that changes the odds the most. If you ride a commuter or urban eBike, it belongs in your kit alongside your winter riding setup.
How to Use It on an eBike
Wear it on top of your bike's lights, not instead of them. Run your headlight to see the road, your tail light or reflector to satisfy the rules where you ride, and the vest to put a second, higher, moving light source in a driver's field of view. Cinch the straps over whatever you've got on, pick a mode — fast flash for busy streets, steady or slow flash for paths — and charge it on the same routine as the rest of your gear. It works just as well off the bike, walking the dog or running after dark.
The Honest Take
This is a visibility light, not a headlight. At 15 lumens it makes you seen; it will not light a dark trail, and you shouldn't ask it to. It also doesn't replace the lights your province may legally require after dark — check the eBike laws for where you ride and keep your bike's headlight and rear light on. Think of the vest as the layer that covers the gap those low-mounted lights leave: your body, up high, lit and moving. Worn together, that's a rider who's hard to miss.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does this replace the lights my eBike needs after dark?
No. Wear it as a visibility layer on top of your bike's required lights, not a substitute. Most provinces require a working headlight and rear light or reflector after dark — keep those on the bike and wear the vest as well. It puts light at a driver's eye level, where a low bike light can get lost. See eBike laws in Canada.
Is it bright enough to light up the road ahead?
No, and it isn't meant to. At 15 lumens its job is to make you visible, not to light the path. Use your bike's headlight to see; use the vest so you're seen.
Can I wear it over a winter jacket?
Yes. The straps adjust to sit over a jacket or a jersey, so it works through a dark Canadian winter or a summer evening alike.
Is it waterproof?
It's IPX4 splash-resistant — it handles rain and road spray from any direction. Don't submerge it or leave it in standing water.
How is it powered?
A built-in rechargeable battery — no disposable cells to replace. Charge it, pick a mode, and ride.
What colours does it come in?
Black, pink, and fluorescent green. The fluorescent green is the most visible in daylight and dusk; the black is the most low-key for everyday wear.
