Samebike 20LVXD30 350W Folding Electric Bike (First Generation)
Samebike 20LVXD30 (First Generation): a 20-Inch Folding E-Bike With an Anti-Theft Remote, and Every Fit Figure Samebike Prints
The Samebike 20LVXD30 is a first-generation 20-inch folding e-bike, the version Samebike lists beside the 20LVXD30-II in its own version comparison. It folds twice, front and frame together, and has 20 × 1.95″ tires, a front suspension fork with a seat spring, a Shimano 7-speed, mechanical disc brakes, front and rear lights, a reinforced rear rack and an anti-theft remote. Samebike’s French page prints two sets of figures: its spec strip lists 250 W, a 48 V 10 Ah battery, 30 km on electric power and 60 km with pedal assist and a 25 km/h default speed, while its title and product description say 350 W, and the description adds assistance up to 35 km/h, a 48 V 10.4 Ah battery and 40–80 km per charge.
Fit: Samebike’s French chart recommends riders 5′3″–6′3″, with a seat height of 31.2–37.2″ and a 30″ standover, and puts the bike at 25 kg. Below is every figure Samebike publishes for this version, where they differ, and how to check them against your own legs.
Looking for the 20LVXD30-II? It is the version Samebike Canada sells, listed at 350 W and 32 km/h: Samebike 20LVXD30-II →

⚠️ Canadian legal note
Canada’s federal e-bike definition was repealed in 2021, and the rules are now provincial: they converge on a motor of 500 W or less, assistance that stops at 32 km/h (Nova Scotia’s 30 km/h ended on 19 October 2026) and working pedals. Provinces also set their own ages, helmet rules and throttle rules.
Samebike’s French page calls this 20LVXD30 a 350 W bike in its title and product description and lists 250 W with a 25 km/h default speed in its spec strip, both under the 500 W the provincial rules converge on. Its product description promises assistance “jusqu’à 35 km/h” (up to 35 km/h), its Legal Issues tab says the limit can be unlocked “to reach 35KM/H or higher”, and its FAQ links an unlock video. A bike that assists past 32 km/h is outside those limits, and where a maker says the setting can change, whether an adjustable cap qualifies is not settled. Call us at 1-866-938-7580 and we will tell you how the unit we ship is set. Canadian e-bike laws by province →
Samebike 20LVXD30 Size Chart: Rider Height, Seat Height and Every Dimension
Samebike publishes this first-generation 20LVXD30’s fit on its French page as a Size and Fit chart and an eleven-measurement Size and Fit table, and its version comparison gives the unfolded size; the manual linked from that page has no specification table. We read them on 19 October 2026.
Will the 20LVXD30 fit you? Samebike’s numbers
Recommended rider height: 5′3″–6′3″ on Samebike’s French chart (its scale marks read 160 and 192 cm).

Bike weight: 25 kg on Samebike’s chart. Maximum load: 150 kg on the chart; the page’s spec strip says 120 kg. Plan for 120 kg until we confirm the unit we ship.

Sources: Samebike’s French 20LVXD30 page (Size and Fit table, chart, version comparison), read 19 October 2026. Letters match Samebike’s Size and Fit table. The folded size in that page’s FAQ is given for the 20LVXD30-II, so we do not print it as this version’s.
How to Check the Fit Before You Order
- Go by the seat range, not only the height range. A review of the research on saddle height found the methods “varied and not well established” and suggested setting the saddle so the knee is bent 25–30° at the bottom of the pedal stroke (Bini, Hume and Croft, Sports Medicine, 2011; the paper →).
- Measure your inseam (floor to crotch, in socks, against a wall) and send it to us with your height. We will check it against Samebike’s 31.2–37.2″ seat range and 30″ standover before you order: 1-866-938-7580.
- Below about 5′3″? Samebike’s chart starts there; the CY20 is sized from 4′7″.
Where Samebike’s Own Figures Differ
Samebike sells this version on its French store, and that page and its manual do not agree on these points. We print each with where it appears. Call us and we will confirm the one that matters to you.
| Figure | Samebike’s French page | Other Samebike sources |

Key Features
- Folds twice — the front and the frame fold together, in three steps per Samebike’s description; Samebike says it slips into a car trunk, home storage or public transit. Folding e-bikes →
- 48 V battery — 10 Ah in Samebike’s spec strip, 10.4 Ah in its product description; 30 km on electric power and 60 km with pedal assist in the feature text, 40–80 km in the description. Battery care →
- Front suspension fork and a seat spring, with a soft leather saddle and a seat-tube shock absorber.
- Anti-theft remote — Samebike describes a remote-operated anti-theft device; its version comparison lists a burglar alarm on this version and not on the 20LVXD30-II.
- 20 × 1.95″ tires, Shimano 7-speed, mechanical disc brakes, and a removable twist throttle.
- Display with phone charging — speed, battery, gear, trip and total distance, and a port to charge your phone while you ride; front and rear lights.
- Reinforced rear rack — and, per Samebike’s FAQ, an IP64 rating for the whole bike, including the motor, battery and display.
The Honest Take: What to Know Before You Buy
- Samebike’s page disagrees with itself. 350 W in the title and description, 250 W in the spec strip; 10 or 10.4 Ah; 60 or 40–80 km; 150 kg on the chart and 120 kg in the strip. Call us and we will confirm the unit we ship.
- Removable battery, or not? The French page says “Batterie Amovible”; the manual says the standard version’s battery can’t be removed. Ask which you are getting.
- Less published detail than its siblings. Its manual has no specification table, and we could not find a charging time or a folded size for this version on Samebike’s page.
- A city folder. Mechanical discs and 20 × 1.95″ tires suit pavement and paved paths, not trails.
If those fit how you ride (pavement and paved paths, a bike that folds into a trunk or a closet, riders 5′3″–6′3″ on Samebike’s chart), the 20LVXD30 gives you a double fold and an anti-theft remote at 25 kg.

Who Is the 20LVXD30 For?
- Commuters who take the bike part of the way — trunk or transit, per Samebike. More folding e-bikes →
- Apartment and condo riders — it folds for a closet or a storage room.
- Riders 5′3″–6′3″ on Samebike’s chart, riding pavement and paved paths.
Who it’s NOT for: riders below about 5′3″ (the CY20 is sized from 4′7″); anyone near the 120 kg the spec strip prints; riders who want Samebike Canada’s figures (the 20LVXD30-II is listed at 350 W and 32 km/h); and riders who want hydraulic brakes (the XD26-II).

Warranty and Zeus Care
Your Samebike 20LVXD30 is backed by Samebike in full, on Samebike Canada’s own published terms (read 19 October 2026): the frame for 3 years, and batteries, motors and other accessories for 1 year, for the original owner, from the day the original owner receives the bike. Samebike describes the battery cover as a 1-year prorated warranty, and a frame claim covers a replacement frame only (labour to move parts across is not included). Free parts that come with the bike are not covered, and neither is a stolen bike. Samebike’s product page for this bike also prints “12 Months Warranty” (“our manufacturer’s 12 months warranty for the original owner against all manufacturing defects”); its warranty policy is the longer of the two for the frame.
Not covered, in Samebike’s words: damage from accident, abuse, misuse or abnormal use, improper storage, exposure to liquid or chemicals, ordinary wear and tear, cosmetic damage, and damage from assembly, maintenance or repair that varies from Samebike’s instructions.
Zeus handles the claim with Samebike for you, and your first month of Zeus Care is included: we diagnose the problem, file the claim and follow it up, and assembly walkthroughs by phone or video are part of it. Zeus Care plans continue that service for $119 (1 year), $229 (2 years), $339 (3 years) or $599 (5 years); Zeus Care is a service, not a warranty, and does not add coverage (prices in CAD, October 2026). Frequently Asked Questions
What riders ask about the 20LVXD30
What height rider does the Samebike 20LVXD30 fit?
Samebike’s French chart recommends 5′3″–6′3″. The seat runs 31.2–37.2″ with a 30″ standover. Send us your inseam and height before you order (1-866-938-7580). Full size chart →
Is the 20LVXD30 350W or 250W?
Samebike’s French page says both: 350 W in its title and product description, 250 W in its spec strip, feature text and version comparison. Ask us which applies to the unit we ship.
How big is the 20LVXD30, and how small does it fold?
Unfolded, 1600 × 575 × 1080–1190 mm in Samebike’s version comparison. Samebike gives no folded size for this version: the 900 × 360 × 700 mm in the FAQ on its page is for the 20LVXD30-II. The front and frame fold together.
How much does the 20LVXD30 weigh, and how much can it carry?
25 kg on Samebike’s chart. Maximum load is 150 kg on the chart and 120 kg in the page’s spec strip; plan for 120 kg until we confirm.
How fast does the 20LVXD30 go, and is it legal in Canada?
Samebike lists a 25 km/h default setting; its product description promises assistance up to 35 km/h, and its Legal Issues tab says it can be unlocked “to reach 35KM/H or higher”. A bike that assists past 32 km/h is outside the limits the provincial rules converge on, and whether an adjustable cap qualifies is not settled. Canadian e-bike laws →
How far does the 20LVXD30 go on a charge?
Samebike’s French page says 30 km on electric power and 60 km with pedal assist in its feature text, and 40–80 km per charge in its product description. We could not find a charging time for this version on its page or in its manual. Cold, hills and load shorten range. Battery guide →
Can I ride the 20LVXD30 in the rain?
Samebike’s FAQ says the whole bike, including the motor, battery and display, meets IP64, and asks riders to avoid heavy rain, which can shorten battery life and reduce traction.
Where is the 20LVXD30 user manual?
Samebike’s 20LVXD30 user manual (PDF) covers folding, assembly, removing the battery, charging and the warranty; it has no specification table.
Are there reviews of the Samebike 20LVXD30?
On YouTube, Simple People Help posted “Samebike 20LVXD30 - Review, Pros and Cons” in May 2020, and dyan wibowo an unboxing and review in August 2020.
What warranty comes with the 20LVXD30?
Samebike backs the Samebike 20LVXD30 in full on Samebike Canada’s published terms: its warranty policy covers the frame for 3 years, and batteries, motors and other accessories for 1 year (the battery on a prorated basis), and its product page says 12 months; for the original owner. Zeus files and follows up the claim with Samebike for you, and your first month of Zeus Care is included. Warranty details → Samebike’s statement adds that its free accessories are not covered.
How long does delivery take?
Free shipping anywhere we deliver in Canada. Orders are processed in 1–3 business days after we confirm them, then take 2–7 business days in transit depending on where you live, and the tracking number comes by email. Also worth knowing before you buy
How is the 20LVXD30 different from the 20LVXD30-II?
In Samebike’s own version comparison both have a 48 V 10 Ah battery, 250 W and 25 km/h, 30+30 km of range and a fold. The 20LVXD30 adds a burglar alarm; the 20LVXD30-II adds weak-current protection and is wider unfolded (630 against 575 mm). Samebike Canada lists the 20LVXD30-II at 350 W and 32 km/h. 20LVXD30-II →
How hard is assembly?
Samebike’s assembly video is on this page. Your first month of Zeus Care includes assembly walkthroughs by phone or video: 1-866-938-7580.
Can I ride the 20LVXD30 in winter?
For lithium-ion cells, Battery University’s BU-410 table permits discharge, which is riding, from −20 °C to 60 °C and charging only from 0 °C to 45 °C: “No charge permitted below freezing.” Samebike’s French store, on its spare-battery page, says to charge the battery only indoors, in a dry place, neither too hot nor too cold (our translation).
