Samebike RS-A01 Pro-T Step-Thru Commuter Electric Bike
Samebike RS‑A01 Pro‑T: a 26-Inch Step-Thru Commuter E-Bike With a Basket and Rack, and Every Fit Figure Samebike Prints
The Samebike RS‑A01 Pro‑T is a 26-inch step-through commuter e-bike with a front basket and a rear rack. Samebike Canada lists a 350 W hub motor with 55+ N·m in its spec tab (its product description says 500 W), a hidden, removable 36 V 15 Ah battery (540 Wh), 32 km/h, 55–110 km of range, a Shimano 7-speed, mechanical disc brakes, a front fork with seat suspension, 26 × 2.125″ tires and a 150 kg (330 lb) maximum load, on a high-carbon steel frame. Samebike Canada calls it a “Step-Thru City Commuting E-Bike”.
Fit: Samebike Canada’s chart recommends riders 5′5″–6′9″, with a seat height of 34.6–39.7″; Samebike’s French chart prints 165–210 cm. Below is every figure Samebike publishes for this bike, where its pages disagree, and how to check the fit against your own legs before you order.
Free with every Zeus order of this bike: a front basket and Samebike’s 8-in-1 multi-functional kit. Who it suits: riders from about 5′5″ who would rather step through the frame than swing a leg over it, and who carry shopping on pavement and paved paths.

⚠️ Canadian legal note
Canada’s federal e-bike definition was repealed in 2021, and the rules are now provincial: they converge on a motor of 500 W or less, assistance that stops at 32 km/h (Nova Scotia’s 30 km/h ended on 19 October 2026) and working pedals. Provinces also set their own ages, helmet rules and throttle rules.
Samebike Canada lists the RS‑A01 Pro‑T at 350 W in its spec tab and 500 W in its product description, both within the 500 W those rules converge on, and at 32 km/h. Samebike’s global and UK pages list the European version at 250 W and a 25 km/h default speed; its UK page adds that the default speed limit can be unlocked by following its FAQ, its French page that the 25 km/h default can be unlocked “to reach 32KM/H or higher” with instructions from customer service, and the RS-A01 Pro manual that its UK and French pages link lists a 21 mph (about 34 km/h) top speed. A bike that assists past 32 km/h is outside the limits the provincial rules converge on, and where a maker says the setting can change, whether an adjustable cap qualifies is not settled. Samebike RS‑A01 Pro‑T Size Chart: Rider Height, Seat Height and Every Dimension
Samebike publishes the RS‑A01 Pro‑T’s fit on its Canadian page as a Size & Fit chart, a Size & Fit pop-up and a Specification tab, and in two manuals: the RS-A01 Pro-T manual (linked from its global and German pages) and an RS-A01 Pro manual (linked from its UK and French pages). We read them all on 19 October 2026 with the global, UK, German and French pages. The Canadian, global, UK and German pop-ups agree within rounding; the French page and chart, and the two manuals, print other figures, set out below.

How to Check the Fit Before You Order
- Go by the seat range, not only the height range. A review of the research on saddle height found the methods “varied and not well established” and suggested setting the saddle so the knee is bent 25–30° at the bottom of the pedal stroke (Bini, Hume and Croft, Sports Medicine, 2011; the paper →).
- Measure your inseam (floor to crotch, in socks, against a wall) and send it to us with your height. We will check it against Samebike’s 34.6–39.7″ seat range and 29.5–34.6″ saddle-to-pedal figure before you order: 1-866-938-7580.
- Below about 5′5″? Samebike’s chart starts there and the seat’s lowest setting is 34.6″; the CY20 is sized from 4′7″.
- Taller riders: ask about the bars. Samebike’s spec tab lists the handlebar as “Adjustable”; its owner summary mentions a “non-adjustable handlebar height for taller riders”. We will check the unit we ship.

What’s in the Box
- The bike, its tools and the battery charger, the box contents Samebike’s RS-A01 Pro-T manual lists; assembly follows Samebike’s installation video above.
- A front basket, free with every Zeus order of this bike. Samebike: “Equipped with a front basket, you can easily carry groceries”.
- Samebike’s 8-in-1 multi-functional kit, free with every Zeus order of this bike.
- Fenders, fitted at assembly: step 4.2 of the RS-A01 Pro-T manual is “Headlight and Fenders Installation”.
- Already on the bike: the rear rack, front and rear lights, the central LCD, and (per the Pro-T manual) an electric horn and a USB port, 5 V, 1 A.
Samebike’s warranty statement says “All free Accessories are not covered by warranty service”.
Key Features
- Step-thru frame — Samebike Canada sells it as a “Step-Thru City Commuting E-Bike” and its French page as a “Cadre à Enjambement Bas (Step-Thru)”: step in rather than swinging a leg over. Step-through e-bikes in Canada →
- Hidden, removable 540 Wh battery (36 V 15 Ah) — Samebike: “55 km of pure electric range or up to 110 km of pedal-assisted range”, tested with a 75 kg rider on a flat road in pedal-assist level 1. Battery care →
- 350 W hub motor, 55+ N·m (Samebike Canada’s spec tab; its product description says 500 W), five pedal-assist levels and a 20° climbing rating in the Pro-T manual.
- Front fork and seat suspension — “front fork and seat dual suspension”, with a custom saddle and a seat tube that Samebike says “provide shock absorption”.
- Front basket and rear rack — the basket for groceries, the rack for “all your luggage needs”.
- 26 × 2.125″ wear-resistant tires, Shimano 7-speed, mechanical disc brakes on a high-carbon steel frame.
- Front and rear lights, central LCD — an electric horn and USB port per the Pro-T manual, which rates the bike IP54; Samebike’s FAQ says IP54 for the bike and IP64 for the motor, battery and display.
The Honest Take: What to Know Before You Buy
- Samebike’s own figures for this bike disagree. Weight (26 or 28 kg), overall size, motor (350, 500 or 250 W), frame (steel or aluminium) and wheel size all differ between its pages and its two manuals; the table above shows every one. Call us and we will confirm the unit we ship.
- The seat starts high. Its lowest setting is 34.6″ and Samebike’s chart starts at 5′5″. For a shorter rider, the CY20 is sized from 4′7″ and the XD26-II’s seat starts at 27.5″ on Samebike Canada’s figures.
- What owners raise. Samebike’s global page summarises its reviews as praising a “smooth ride, good battery life” and noting “battery loosening in case, brake noise, non-adjustable handlebar height for taller riders, and actual range being less than advertised (25 miles realistic)”; its UK summary adds that some found it heavy, with “limited power on steep gradients”.
- Mechanical brakes and a steel frame. 28 kg with cable-operated discs; the XD26-II has hydraulic discs and a rear shock.
If those fit how you ride (pavement and errands, a basket and a rack, riders from 5′5″ on Samebike’s chart), the RS‑A01 Pro‑T gives you a step-through frame on 26-inch wheels with the basket already in the box.

Warranty and Zeus Care
Your Samebike RS-A01 Pro-T is backed by Samebike in full, on Samebike Canada’s own published terms (read 19 October 2026): the frame for 3 years, and batteries, motors and other accessories for 1 year, for the original owner, from the day the original owner receives the bike. Samebike describes the battery cover as a 1-year prorated warranty, and a frame claim covers a replacement frame only (labour to move parts across is not included). Free parts that come with the bike are not covered, and neither is a stolen bike. Samebike’s product page for this bike also prints “12 Months Warranty” (“our manufacturer’s 12 months warranty for the original owner against all manufacturing defects”); its warranty policy is the longer of the two for the frame.
Not covered, in Samebike’s words: damage from accident, abuse, misuse or abnormal use, improper storage, exposure to liquid or chemicals, ordinary wear and tear, cosmetic damage, and damage from assembly, maintenance or repair that varies from Samebike’s instructions.
Zeus handles the claim with Samebike for you, and your first month of Zeus Care is included: we diagnose the problem, file the claim and follow it up, and assembly walkthroughs by phone or video are part of it. Zeus Care plans continue that service for $119 (1 year), $229 (2 years), $339 (3 years) or $599 (5 years); Zeus Care is a service, not a warranty, and does not add coverage (prices in CAD, October 2026). Samebike Canada prints both: a 350 W hub motor with 55+ N·m in its spec tab, and “a 500W motor” in its product description. Samebike’s global and UK pages list 250 W for the European version, and its French page a 250 W “moteur central”. Ask us which applies to the unit we ship.
How fast does the RS‑A01 Pro‑T go, and is it legal in Canada?
Samebike Canada lists 32 km/h. Its UK page says the default speed limit can be unlocked, and the RS-A01 Pro manual linked there lists 21 mph (about 34 km/h). A bike that assists past 32 km/h is outside the limits the provincial rules converge on, and whether an adjustable cap qualifies is not settled. Canadian e-bike laws →
How far does the RS‑A01 Pro‑T go on a charge?
Samebike Canada says 55 km on electric power alone or up to 110 km with pedal assist, for a 75 kg rider on a flat road. Its Pro-T manual says 40–45 km and 80–90 km. Samebike’s owner summaries report “25 miles realistic” (about 40 km) and “up to 40 miles”. Cold, hills and load shorten it. Battery guide →
Are there reviews of the Samebike RS‑A01 Pro‑T?
Samebike’s pages show AI-selected summaries of its customer reviews: owners praise a “smooth ride, good battery life” and value, and raise battery loosening in its case, brake noise, handlebar height for taller riders and range. On YouTube, Federico Dalla Palma (May 2024) and Vteka (September 2024) posted reviews of the RS-A01 Pro.
Can the handlebar be raised for a taller rider?
Samebike’s spec tab lists the handlebar as “Adjustable”, while its global owner summary mentions a “non-adjustable handlebar height for taller riders”. The bike is 44.3″ tall at the bars on Samebike Canada’s chart. Tell us your height and we will check the unit we ship (1-866-938-7580).
What warranty comes with the RS‑A01 Pro‑T?
Samebike backs the Samebike RS-A01 Pro-T in full on Samebike Canada’s published terms: its warranty policy covers the frame for 3 years, and batteries, motors and other accessories for 1 year (the battery on a prorated basis), and its product page says 12 months; for the original owner. Zeus files and follows up the claim with Samebike for you, and your first month of Zeus Care is included. Warranty details → Samebike’s statement adds that its free accessories are not covered.
How long does delivery take?
Free shipping anywhere we deliver in Canada. Orders are processed in 1–3 business days after we confirm them, then take 2–7 business days in transit depending on where you live, and the tracking number comes by email. We do not ship to P.O. boxes or remote communities, so call us first at 1-866-938-7580 if you live in one. Shipping policy →

Samebike’s installation video is on this page, and its owner summary says most found it easy to assemble. Your first month of Zeus Care includes assembly walkthroughs by phone or video: 1-866-938-7580.
Can I ride the RS‑A01 Pro‑T in winter?
For lithium-ion cells, Battery University’s BU-410 table permits discharge, which is riding, from −20 °C to 60 °C and charging only from 0 °C to 45 °C: “No charge permitted below freezing.” Samebike’s French store, on its spare-battery page, says to charge the battery only indoors, in a dry place, neither too hot nor too cold (our translation). So bring the battery inside after a cold ride and let it warm up before you charge it. Our winter e-bike guide covers tires, storage and charging through a Canadian winter →
