Eunorau SPECTER-ST 2.0: A Step-Through Full-Suspension E-Bike With a 160 N·m Bafang Mid-Drive

The Eunorau SPECTER-ST 2.0 is a step-through, full-suspension electric mountain bike. Eunorau Canada lists a 48V 500W Bafang M620 (G510) mid-drive with 160 N·m of torque and a torque sensor, a 48V 17.5Ah LG battery, 27.5 × 3.0″ tires, a 140 mm fork and a DNM AO-38RC rear shock, on a frame with a 19.3″ (490 mm) standover that you step through instead of over.

We sell Eunorau Canada’s version, which Eunorau lists with a 32 km/h (20 mph) maximum speed. US listings and reviews describe Eunorau’s US version, at 1000W and 28 mph. Choose White or Black, with a Standard or Adjustable handlebar stem.

At Zeus it costs $1,080 less than its step-over sibling, the SPECTER-S 4.0 (prices in CAD, October 2026).

🎁 Free with every SPECTER-ST 2.0: Eunorau’s 48V 5Ah second battery

Every SPECTER-ST 2.0 order includes Eunorau’s 48V 5Ah secondary battery, the same gift Eunorau Canada includes with this bike (Eunorau lists the battery at $309, October 2026). It ships with your bike: nothing to add to your cart, and no code.

Eunorau describes it as a down-tube battery with an RA4 connector and a USB-C port, for charging phones and power banks and for e-bikes rated 500W and below. It adds 240 Wh to the 840 Wh main battery (our arithmetic: 48 V × 5 Ah and 48 V × 17.5 Ah).

It comes on top of any Zeus gift offer shown with the price. Both of Eunorau’s Canadian warranty pages exclude free gifts from coverage. The bike’s return terms do not change: 15 days from delivery on unused, unopened items, less a 15% restocking fee.

Add the rack and fenders, or a bigger second battery

Tick them under Add compatible accessories, above the Add to Cart button, and they go into your cart with the bike:

Before You Order

  • Road rules. Eunorau Canada lists this bike at 500W with a 32 km/h (20 mph) maximum speed. The rules are provincial: the federal e-bike definition was repealed effective 4 February 2021. A motor rated 500 W or less, assistance that stops at 32 km/h and working pedals are the core the provincial rules converge on (Newfoundland and Labrador, which has no e-bike rule, reads two ways). The “Class 3” badge on Eunorau’s page is a US category, and Canadian rules do not use it. Check the rules in your province and municipality before public-road use. E-bike laws in Canada →
  • Fit. RedTail’s fit model clears the 19.3″ standover for 95 of 100 riders at 5′3″; the saddle height is the number to check. If you are 5′5″ or taller, call us before you order and we will confirm how high the seat post goes. Fit details ↓
  • Weight. 88 lb (40 kg): easy to step onto, heavy to lift. Plan ground-floor storage and two people for a car rack.
  • Load. Eunorau lists a 300 lb (136 kg) total payload: you plus everything on the bike, as our US sister store, RedTail eBikes, explains in its SPECTER-ST 2.0 review.
  • Cold and wet. Eunorau’s FAQ gives 10 °C to 55 °C as the optimal operating temperature for its batteries and says efficiency can be severely limited outside it. Its bikes are water-resistant: rain and washing are fine, long exposure is not, and the battery should only get wet while it sits in the frame.
  • Warranty and payment. Backed by Eunorau in full, and we handle the claim; your first month of Zeus Care is included. Financing options appear at checkout. Warranty details in the FAQ ↓

Key Features

  • Bafang G510 (M620) mid-drive, 160 N·m. Eunorau describes the motor’s “mid-drive design, 500w power, torque sensor, 160 N.m torque, and dual throttle and pedal assist capabilities.” Its torque-sensing assist works by “adapting power output to pedal pressure”, which Eunorau calls “ideal for climbing”. Mid-drive vs hub motor →
  • Step-through frame, full suspension. A 6061 aluminum frame with a 19.3″ (490 mm) standover on Eunorau’s geometry chart, Eunorau’s own fork with “140mm of travel, compression adjustment and lockout”, and a DNM AO-38RC rear shock (165 mm).
  • Standard or Adjustable stem. Choose either in the options above. The adjustable stem lets you set the handlebar’s height and angle; Eunorau’s page: “Effortlessly modify the stem’s height and angle to achieve the perfect position”.
  • SRAM NX 1×11, 11–42T. Eunorau says the drivetrain “interfaced perfectly with the motor, largely due to the shift detection that was combined with the motor.”
  • 4-piston hydraulic brakes, 180 mm rotors. Eunorau lists four-piston hydraulic disc brakes on 180 mm rotors, with brake levers that cut the motor when you brake.
  • Bafang DPC18 colour display. A colour TFT screen Eunorau says is “super easy to read even in direct sunlight”, showing speed, battery, range, odometer and assist level, with an adjustable angle.
  • Thumb throttle and 5 assist levels. Eunorau’s spec lists a thumb throttle and 0–5 pedal assist; its FAQ says a throttle can be activated from a complete stop. Pedal assist vs throttle →
  • Aluminum bash guard. Eunorau says it “helps protect the chainring teeth from strikes” and keeps the chain in place.
  • Lights, tires and tools. An LED front light and a taillight, 27.5 × 3.0″ tires on black alloy rims, and a tool kit in the box.

Will the SPECTER-ST 2.0 Fit You?

Eunorau lists riders from 5′3″ to 6′4″, a 19.3″ (490 mm) standover and a saddle height of 32.3″ to 34.3″ from the ground. Our US sister store, RedTail eBikes, ran this frame through a fit model built on 6,068 measured adults (the US Army’s ANSUR II survey) in its SPECTER-ST 2.0 fit section:

  • Standover: low for almost everyone. At 5′3″, 95 of 100 riders clear the frame by 9.5″ or more.
  • Saddle height: confirm it from 5′5″. Eunorau’s photo shows the saddle at 37.8″, above the listed range. At 5′5″, 68 of 100 riders need it higher than the photo shows, and at 5′7″, 96 of 100.

If you are 5′5″ or taller, call us at 1-866-938-7580 before you order and we will confirm how high the seat post goes.

How Far It Goes on a Charge

Eunorau rates the SPECTER-ST 2.0 at up to 129 km (80 mi) with the main battery and the optional 15Ah second battery together. On the main battery alone, RedTail’s range model (flat pavement, an 82 kg / 180 lb rider, 25 °C, throttle only) gives about 77 km (48 mi) at 24 km/h and 56 km (35 mi) at 32 km/h; pedalling easily stretches the 24 km/h ride to about 122 km (76 mi). These are RedTail’s modelled figures, which we converted to kilometres. RedTail’s range tables →

The free 5Ah battery adds 240 Wh. RedTail’s model prices the 32 km/h throttle ride at 23.8 Wh a mile, so 240 Wh adds about 16 km (10 mi) at that speed (our arithmetic: 240 ÷ 23.8 = 10.1 mi, or 16.2 km).

Cold shortens every figure. At 0 °C, below the 10 °C to 55 °C Eunorau calls optimal for its batteries, RedTail’s model gives about 45 km (28 mi) at 32 km/h on the throttle (modelled; 40 to 48 km across its cell sources). RedTail’s cold-weather table →

Who Is the SPECTER-ST 2.0 For?

  • Riders who want suspension and a low frame. You step through a 19.3″ standover at a stop instead of swinging a leg over a full-suspension frame. Step-through e-bikes →
  • Hill riders. A torque-sensing mid-drive that climbs through 11 gears, at the 160 N·m Eunorau lists. Best e-bikes for hills →
  • Trail and gravel riders who also ride roads. 27.5 × 3.0″ tires and 140 mm of front travel, at the 500W and 32 km/h Eunorau Canada lists.
  • Riders who want a longer day. A second battery ships free, and the 15Ah upgrade is one tick away above the Add to Cart button.

Who it’s NOT for: anyone who carries a bike up stairs or lifts it often (88 lb). Riders who, with gear, come to more than 300 lb. Riders who want 4″ fat tires and a rack and fenders included (see the SPECTER-S 4.0). Flat city commutes, where a lighter hub-drive step-through does the job for less (see our step-through guide).

Frequently Asked Questions

What riders ask about the SPECTER-ST 2.0

Is the Eunorau SPECTER-ST 2.0 any good? Are there reviews?

No customer has reviewed it on this page yet. Our US sister store, RedTail eBikes, published a full review of the SPECTER-ST 2.0 with a fit and range model; its US listing is Eunorau’s 1000W version, so read its speed and legal sections as US-only. Its strongest finding is the 19.3″ standover on a full-suspension frame. For a straight answer on whether it suits how you ride, call us at 1-866-938-7580.

Is the SPECTER-ST 2.0 on sale, and is there a discount code?

The price, and any struck-through regular price, show at the top of this page, and nothing on it needs a code. Every order includes Eunorau’s 48V 5Ah secondary battery free, the same gift Eunorau Canada includes with this bike.

What motor does it have, and how fast does it go?

Eunorau Canada lists a 48V 500W Bafang M620 (G510) mid-drive with 160 N·m of torque and a torque sensor, and a 32 km/h (20 mph) maximum speed. US listings describe Eunorau’s US version at 1000W and 28 mph; the bike we sell is the Canadian version.

How far does it go on a charge?

Eunorau rates it at up to 129 km (80 mi) with the optional 15Ah second battery. On the main battery alone, RedTail’s model (flat pavement, an 82 kg rider, 25 °C, throttle only) gives about 56 km at 32 km/h and 77 km at 24 km/h (modelled). The free 5Ah battery adds about 16 km at 32 km/h (our arithmetic from RedTail’s model). RedTail’s range tables →

How much does it weigh, and how much can it carry?

Eunorau’s chart gives 88 lb (40 kg). Its total payload is 300 lb (136 kg), rider and cargo together, so a 215 lb rider has 85 lb left for gear (our arithmetic). E-bikes for heavier riders →

Will it fit me? What inseam do I need?

Eunorau lists riders from 5′3″ to 6′4″. In RedTail’s fit tables, a 30″ inseam falls in the rows for riders 5′3″ to 5′5″, and a 32″ inseam in the rows from 5′4″ to 5′8″. The standover clears comfortably at every height; the saddle is the check, so from 5′5″ up, call us and we will confirm how high the seat post goes. Fit table ↓

Does it have a throttle?

Yes. Eunorau’s spec lists a thumb throttle and 0–5 pedal-assist levels, and its FAQ says a throttle can be activated from a complete stop. Provinces treat throttles differently, so check yours. Pedal assist vs throttle →

Is the SPECTER-ST 2.0 legal on Canadian roads?

Eunorau Canada lists it at 500W with a 32 km/h (20 mph) maximum speed. The “Class 3” badge on Eunorau’s page is a US category. Check the rules in your province and municipality before public-road use. E-bike laws in Canada →

Is the battery UL certified?

Eunorau’s page shows “UL CERTIFIED” with “Yes” and does not name the standard. If your building or insurer needs the certificate, ask us before you order and we will request it from Eunorau.

Has the SPECTER-ST 2.0 been recalled?

No recall or safety alert names Eunorau or the SPECTER-ST in Health Canada’s recall database, the US CPSC’s recall database, the UK OPSS product-safety register or the EU Safety Gate (searched 30 October 2026).

What is the difference between the SPECTER-ST 2.0 and the SPECTER-S?

The SPECTER-S 4.0 is the step-over sibling: 26 × 4.0″ fat tires, a rack and fenders included, 83.7 lb, and a 1,000W motor that puts it outside every provincial e-bike rule. The SPECTER-ST 2.0 steps through, rides 27.5 × 3.0″ tires and is listed at 500W. Side-by-side table ↓

What warranty does it come with?

Eunorau publishes two Canadian warranty pages. Its Canadian store’s policy: frame 10 years; battery, motor and electrical components 24 months; manufacturing defects only, original purchaser. The en-canada page of its global site: frame 5 years from production; battery 2 years prorated; motor, display and controller 12 months. Both exclude free gifts and wear parts. Call 1-866-938-7580 for the current Eunorau warranty term on the SPECTER-ST 2.0 before you order. The warranty is backed by Eunorau in full, we file and follow up the claim, and your first month of Zeus Care is included.

Can I ride it in winter or in the rain?

Eunorau gives 10 °C to 55 °C as the optimal operating temperature for its batteries and says efficiency can be severely limited outside it. At 0 °C, RedTail’s model gives about 45 km at 32 km/h on the throttle (modelled), against 56 km at 25 °C. Eunorau calls its bikes water-resistant: rain and washing are fine, long exposure is not, and the battery should only get wet while it sits in the frame. Store and charge the battery indoors. Our winter e-bike guide →

What does the free 5Ah battery do?

It is Eunorau’s 48V 5Ah down-tube secondary battery, with an RA4 connector and a USB-C port. Eunorau describes it for charging phones and power banks and for e-bikes rated 500W and below. It adds 240 Wh to the 840 Wh main battery (our arithmetic). It ships with your bike; both of Eunorau’s Canadian warranty pages exclude free gifts.

Can I add a rack and fenders, or a bigger battery?

Yes. Tick them under Add compatible accessories, above the Add to Cart button, and they go into your cart with the bike: the SPECTER-ST 2.0 Rack & Fender Set and the Universal 48V 15Ah Secondary Battery (720 Wh, our arithmetic), which Eunorau lists for the SPECTER-ST.

Where are Eunorau bikes made?

Eunorau’s FAQ: “EUNORAU bikes are designed in the U.S. and manufactured in Shanghai.” It says its team in Shanghai oversees quality control and inspects every bike before it ships, and it describes Eunorau as a global company located in California.
