All figures are the makers’ own; prices are in CAD, live from our store. Battery = watt-hours, with the maker’s volts and amp-hours in brackets (watt-hours computed from them where the maker prints no total); “option” = the figure with the larger-battery version we sell. — = not printed or not confirmed. The table lists up to 50 bikes in shelf order; the grid above shows every bike. Prices and stock are live from our store.
§ Eahora Canada ships these bikes “Factory-limited to 500W output to comply with local road regulations”. We shelve them by the motor power Eahora prints for them on its global page, or printed on its Canadian page before the limit was added; where Eahora also calls that combined figure a peak (the Romeo II’s 2,500W, the Romeo Pro II’s 3,000W, the Romeo Pro II 2026’s 4,000W), the Peak column shows it. Whether a factory limit changes how a province classifies a bike is not settled. ¶ Eahora’s global page rates the DL2000’s motors at 2 × 800W, as Eahora Canada’s own page did in 2024 and 2025; Eahora Canada now lists 2 × 250W. We shelve it by the 2 × 800W rating.
How we choose the bikes on this shelf
A bike is here when its maker prints a battery of 1,000 Wh or more for a version we sell. Where only a larger-battery option reaches it, the table says so. Every figure was read on the maker’s own page and checked against our listing for that bike.
Range claims are the maker’s own estimates. Our long-range guide covers riding range in more depth, including winter.
FAQ — long-range electric bikes in Canada
Which e-bike has the longest range?
No maker’s range figure is a like-for-like test: each is the maker’s own estimate, and real range depends on the rider, the terrain, the assist level and the weather. Battery capacity in watt-hours is the number you can compare across makers, so the table on this page shows it for every bike, from the maker’s own figures.
How is this shelf chosen?
A bike is here when its maker prints a battery of 1,000 Wh or more for a version we sell (watt-hours as printed, or volts times amp-hours from the maker’s figures). Where only the larger-battery option reaches 1,000 Wh, the table says so.
Does a bigger battery change whether an e-bike is legal?
No. Canada has had no federal e-bike definition since the federal power-assisted-bicycle definition was repealed effective February 4, 2021. E-bike rules are provincial, and they converge on a 500W motor and 32 km/h of assisted speed (Nova Scotia’s 30 km/h ends on 19 October 2026). The battery is not part of that test; the motor rating and the assisted speed are. Our laws guide goes province by province.
Are dual-battery bikes on this shelf?
Many are, because two packs is how many makers pass 1,000 Wh; our dual-battery shelf lists every bike sold with two batteries, whatever their size.
