- This is an original Velotric pack, not a third-party replacement. It carries UL 2271 certification and is built to talk to your bike's own battery management system, so charging, cell balancing and thermal cut-offs all behave the way Velotric designed them to.

Compatibility & what else you may need
⚠️ Discover 3 only. Velotric lists this pack as compatible with the Velotric Discover 3. The Summit 2 pack is a larger 801.6 Wh unit and the two are not interchangeable.
The charger and the cover plate are both separate parts, and we stock both: the Velotric charger for the Discover 3 and the Discover 3 Battery Cover Plate in five colours. The bike itself is the Velotric Discover 3.
FAQ
How much extra range does it give me?
A second full 730.6 Wh charge to carry. Real distance depends on assist level, terrain, rider weight, tire pressure and temperature — a Canadian February will cost you range on any lithium pack, which is exactly when a spare earns its money.
Is a charger included?
No. Velotric sells the charger separately and we stock it. A second charger is what lets you charge one pack while the other is on the bike.
Will it fit my Summit 2 or Discover M?
No. Velotric lists this pack for the Discover 3. The Summit 2 uses a larger 801.6 Wh pack, which we also stock. Call 1-866-938-7580 if you are unsure which bike you have.
Can I fly with it?
No. Airlines do not accept eBike batteries in carry-on or checked baggage. We ship it by ground within Canada.
Is it safe?
UL 2271 certified with IPX7 water resistance, and it is Velotric's own pack — so the cells, the battery management system and the bike's controller were designed to work together. That is what you are paying for over a generic replacement.
