Eunorau S1: A 60 V Electric Pit Bike With a 4,800 W Peak Mid Motor, a 1,800 Wh Battery and Suspension at Both Ends

The Eunorau S1 is a compact electric dirt bike, a pit bike with footpegs and a twist throttle and no pedals. In Eunorau Canada’s figures it has a 60 V mid motor with a 4,800 W peak and 150 N·m of torque, a 60 V 30 Ah battery (1,800 Wh by our arithmetic), a top speed of 70 km/h, an inverted aluminium fork and an adjustable air shock, hydraulic disc brakes on 190 mm rotors, 14-inch front and 12-inch rear wheels, a 710 mm (28.0 in) seat, and an LED headlight, tail light, turn signals and horn. It weighs 69 kg (152 lb) and carries 100 kg (220 lb).

Eunorau writes the S1 for “kids and teens who love off-road adventure” and sizes it by height: 4′9″ to 5′9″ (145–175 cm) in its description, FAQ and geometry chart, and 4′9″ to 5′10″ (145–180 cm) in its spec table. It comes in Orange and Camouflage.

Our take: Eunorau builds the S1 for kids and teens, sizes it by height, not age, and recommends adult supervision and protective gear. Before you buy it for a rider under 16, read the age section below: the Canadian Paediatric Society advises that “Children under 16 years should not use e-scooters or e-bikes or ride on them as passengers.” Among the three mini dirt bikes we sell, the S1 has the most peak power (4,800 W, against 2,000 and 3,000 W) and the biggest battery (1,800 Wh), for $360 more than the GT54 Pro and $40 less than the GT73 (November 2026 prices). It is the heaviest of the three, and Eunorau lists no slower speed mode. At 70 km/h with no pedals it is outside every provincial e-bike rule, so no province lets it ride roads, bike lanes or paths as an e-bike. No regulator we searched names Eunorau or the S1.

Warranty: Eunorau prints two Canadian warranties. Its Canadian store’s 24-month+ limited warranty covers manufacturing defects for the original purchaser: frame 10 years, battery and motor 24 months, with registration after purchase and a first-year inspection. Its second Canadian page gives the frame 5 years from its production date, the battery 2 years prorated, and parts such as the motor, display and controller 12 months. Call 1-866-938-7580 for the current Eunorau term before you buy. The warranty is backed by Eunorau in full, and we handle the claim: email support@zeusebikes.ca with your order number and photos, and we present it to Eunorau for you. Your first month of Zeus Care is included; Zeus Care plans are a service and do not add parts coverage (Warranty Policy & Zeus Care).

⚠️ The S1 is an electric dirt bike with footpegs and no pedals, and Eunorau Canada lists a top speed of 70 km/h, more than twice the 32 km/h the provincial e-bike rules converge on (Newfoundland and Labrador’s Act has no e-bike definition). It is outside every provincial e-bike rule, so no province lets it ride roads, bike lanes or paths as an e-bike. Off public roads, the landowner, trail authority or track sets access; check the off-road vehicle rules where you ride. We sell it off-road.

Under Ontario’s Off-Road Vehicles Act, an electric dirt bike is an off-road vehicle. The Act requires a permit and a number plate to drive one; on land where the bike’s owner is the occupier, only the duty to carry the permit is lifted. Alberta’s Traffic Safety Act treats an off-road electric motorbike as an off-highway vehicle. It needs registration and insurance, except on land owned by the rider or on land whose owner has consented, and it may not be driven on any portion of a highway unless the Act permits it. Other provinces set their own rules in their off-road vehicle acts.

Both statutes read 30 October 2026 for our electric dirt bike guide, which sets out the rest; our Ontario e-bike law guide and Alberta e-bike law guide cover the road side. Canadian e-bike laws by province →

Who Can Ride the S1? Age, Height and Supervision

Eunorau sizes the S1 by height and writes it for kids and teens. Its FAQ recommends “adult supervision and protective gear for safe riding”. Its pages print no minimum age, and its manuals page lists no S1 document (read 6 November 2026).

  • Canadian Paediatric Society: “Children under 16 years should not use e-scooters or e-bikes or ride on them as passengers” (Caring for Kids, updated October 2025). The handout covers e-bikes and e-scooters; the S1 is faster and heavier than either, at 70 km/h and 69 kg.
  • Ontario’s Off-Road Vehicles Act, s. 4: “No owner of an off-road vehicle shall permit a child under the age of twelve to drive the vehicle”, except on land the owner occupies or under the close supervision of an adult (the Act, read 30 October 2026).
  • The bikes beside it: the Riding Times GT54’s manual sets a minimum age of use of 16.

If your rider is under 16: keep an adult close by, as Eunorau recommends, use the protective gear it names, and call us first if you want to talk it through.

Will the S1 Fit Your Rider? A 710 mm Seat

With footpegs in place of pedals, fit on the S1 comes down to one number: an inseam of 28.0 inches (71 cm) or more puts both feet flat on the unloaded seat. Our US sister store, RedTail eBikes, set that seat against the measured children of the US survey by Snyder et al. (1977), in which riders 4′9″ to 5′10″ tall were mostly 11 to 18 years old (RedTail eBikes’ Eunorau S1 review, fit section):

Riders of 100 at each height who sit on the unloaded 710 mm (28.0 in) seat with both feet flat, barefoot; RedTail eBikes’ table from the measured children of Snyder et al. (1977)
Rider height Typical inseam (5th–95th percentile) Both feet flat
4′9″ 26.5–28.8 in 26 of 100
4′10″ 26.8–29.4 in 55 of 100
4′11″ 27.2–30.2 in 73 of 100
5′0″ 27.6–30.4 in 90 of 100
5′1″ 27.9–31.0 in 95 of 100
5′2″ 28.5–31.1 in 99 of 100
5′3″ 28.6–32.2 in 98 of 100
5′4″ 29.4–32.6 in 100 of 100
5′6″ 30.1–33.7 in 100 of 100
5′8″ 31.5–34.2 in 100 of 100
5′10″ 32.1–35.2 in 100 of 100

RedTail’s figures, barefoot, on the printed unloaded seat: riding boots add their sole, and the seat settles as the rear shock takes the rider’s weight. Eunorau prints no footpeg height or standover, so sit your rider on it in boots on level ground before the first ride, and have them stand on the pegs and reach the bars.

How Far the S1 Goes on a Charge

Eunorau prints 40 km (24.8 mi), with no speed, rider weight or ground named. The range model in RedTail eBikes’ Eunorau S1 review spends the 1,800 Wh pack like this on level pavement (range section):

RedTail eBikes’ range model for the S1: a 50 kg (110 lb) rider in gear, throttle only, a steady pace on level pavement, still air at 25 °C, a full pack; miles converted to km by us
Steady speed Full charge Keeping 15% in reserve
13 km/h (8 mph) 209 km 179 km
19 km/h (12 mph) 174 km 148 km
26 km/h (16 mph) 138 km 117 km
32 km/h (20 mph) 109 km 92 km
40 km/h (25 mph) 80 km 69 km
48 km/h (30 mph) 60 km 51 km

Computed, not measured on a ride. A dirt session with stops, turns, climbs and loose ground spends more than any row: RedTail’s model reaches Eunorau’s 40 km at a steady 16 km/h up a 6.6% grade, so plan a long session from Eunorau’s figure. Cold costs range too: the model’s 138 km at 26 km/h drops to about 109 km at 0 °C and about 100 km at −10 °C (cold table). Eunorau’s FAQ gives 10 to 55 °C as its batteries’ best operating range; charge indoors. Eunorau puts a full charge at 7 hours.

Watch the Eunorau S1

A 13-minute independent review by the YouTube channel RunPlayBack, published August 2, 2026, which in its own words takes the S1 “for a real-world ride”; not a Zeus test. RunPlayBack puts the top speed at “around 50 miles per hour” (about 80 km/h), above the 70 km/h Eunorau Canada lists.

Eunorau’s own 9-minute unboxing of the S1, from Eunorau’s YouTube channel (March 26, 2026).

Key Features

  • 60 V mid motor, 4,800 W peak, 150 N·m: driving the rear wheel through a heavy-duty 420 chain, from an 11-tooth front sprocket to a 60-tooth rear. Eunorau prints the peak only, no continuous rating, and lists no speed modes.
  • 60 V 30 Ah battery, 1,800 Wh: the most energy of the three mini dirt bikes we sell (the GT54 has 1,296 Wh, the GT54 Pro 1,500 Wh). A full charge takes 7 hours.
  • Suspension at both ends: an inverted aluminium fork up front and an adjustable aluminium air shock at the back, which Eunorau says “adapts to different rider weights”: set it for your rider’s weight in gear before the first ride.
  • Hydraulic disc brakes, 190 mm rotors: front and rear.
  • Off-road tires on 14- and 12-inch wheels: 60/100-14 at the front and 80/100-12 at the back, wider than the 60/100-12 rear tire on the GT54 and GT54 Pro.
  • Lights, signals and controls: an LED headlight, an integrated tail light, turn signals, an electric horn, a 4.58-inch display showing speed, battery level and riding mode, and a one-button start.

What Comes in the Box

Eunorau does not list the box contents on its S1 page; the bike ships in a carton of 131 × 31 × 64 cm. Assembly walkthroughs by phone or video are included in your first month of Zeus Care; call 1-866-938-7580. At 69 kg, unbox and lift it with two people.

The Honest Take: What to Know Before You Buy

  1. It is heavy for its size. At 69 kg (152 lb) it weighs about 21 kg more than the Riding Times GT54 (48.3 kg in its manual) and about 22 kg more than the Riding Times GT54 Pro (102.5 lb, about 46.5 kg, in RedTail’s review; the kilograms are our conversion). Your rider has to hold that up at a stop; load it into a truck with a ramp.
  2. No slower mode is listed. Eunorau prints 70 km/h and no speed modes. For a newer rider, the GT54 has a 25 km/h speed-limit mode, the GT54 Pro can be set to about 25 km/h depending on its controller and display version, and the GT73’s manual sets a 25 km/h speed limit by default.
  3. Eunorau’s figures disagree in two places. The rider window ends at 5′9″ or 5′10″, and its two Canadian warranty pages give different terms. Call us for the current warranty term before you order.

For a rider 4′9″ to 5′9″ who wants a full-featured compact machine, the S1 brings the most peak power and the biggest battery of the three minis we sell, for $360 more than the GT54 Pro (November 2026 prices).

Who Is the Eunorau S1 For?

  • Riders 4′9″ to 5′9″ with land or a track to ride: private land with the owner’s permission, tracks under their own rules, and off-road areas that admit it. Our electric dirt bike guide sets the category side by side.
  • Riders who want the most battery in a mini: 1,800 Wh, about 138 km at a steady 26 km/h on pavement in RedTail’s model.
  • Riders who want the most power in a mini: 4,800 W peak, against 2,000 W on the GT54 and 3,000 W on the GT54 Pro.

Who it is not for: riders under 4′9″ or over 5′10″ (taller riders: the Riding Times GT73 is sized for 5′5″ to 6′3″ by Riding Times, RedTail’s GT73 review; the Eunorau R1 for 5′2″ to 6′4″ by Eunorau, RedTail’s R1 review); a newer rider who needs a slow mode (the Riding Times GT54); anyone who needs a bike for roads, bike lanes or paths; and anyone who cannot handle a 69 kg machine at a stop.

Frequently Asked Questions

What riders ask about the Eunorau S1

How fast does the Eunorau S1 go?

Eunorau Canada lists a maximum speed of 70 km/h (43.4 mph). Its page lists no speed modes and no slower setting; the display shows “speed, battery level, and riding mode”, in Eunorau’s words. RunPlayBack’s independent review puts the top speed at about 50 mph (80 km/h). For a slower setting, the Riding Times GT54 has a 25 km/h speed-limit mode.

What age is the Eunorau S1 for?

Eunorau sizes the S1 by height, 4′9″ to 5′9″ (145–175 cm) in its description, FAQ and geometry chart and 4′9″ to 5′10″ (145–180 cm) in its spec table, and writes it for kids and teens with adult supervision. Its pages print no minimum age, and its manuals page lists no S1 document (read 6 November 2026). The Canadian Paediatric Society advises that children under 16 should not use e-bikes or e-scooters.

Are electric dirt bikes safe for kids?

The Canadian Paediatric Society advises that “Children under 16 years should not use e-scooters or e-bikes or ride on them as passengers.” Its handout covers e-bikes and e-scooters; the S1 is faster and heavier than either, at 70 km/h and 69 kg. Eunorau recommends adult supervision and protective gear. In Ontario, an owner may not let a child under 12 drive an off-road vehicle except on the owner’s land or under close adult supervision.

What size electric dirt bike for a 12-year-old?

Size goes by height and inseam, not age. The S1’s seat is 710 mm (28.0 in): an inseam of 28.0 inches or more puts both feet flat. In the children’s survey behind RedTail eBikes’ Eunorau S1 review, 90 of 100 riders at 5′0″ sit flat-footed on it, and every child from 5′4″ up. Fit is not readiness: read what the Canadian Paediatric Society says about riders under 16.

Is the Eunorau S1 street legal in Canada?

No. At 70 km/h with footpegs and no pedals, it is outside every provincial e-bike rule, so no province lets it ride roads, bike lanes or paths as an e-bike. Ontario treats an electric dirt bike as an off-road vehicle; Alberta treats one as an off-highway vehicle that may not be driven on any portion of a highway unless its Act permits it. We sell it off-road.

Do you need a licence or registration for an electric dirt bike?

In Ontario, the Off-Road Vehicles Act requires a permit and a number plate, even on your own land, where only the duty to carry the permit is lifted. In Alberta, an off-highway vehicle needs registration and insurance except on land the rider owns or on land whose owner has consented. Other provinces set their own rules in their off-road vehicle acts. Our Ontario e-bike law guide and Alberta e-bike law guide have the details.

How far does the Eunorau S1 go on a charge?

Eunorau prints 40 km (24.8 mi) with no speed or rider weight attached. The range model in RedTail eBikes’ Eunorau S1 review gives a 50 kg (110 lb) rider about 138 km at a steady 26 km/h on level pavement and about 60 km at 48 km/h; a dirt session with stops, climbs and loose ground spends more. Plan a long session from Eunorau’s 40 km.

How long does the S1 battery take to charge?

Eunorau puts a full charge of the 60 V 30 Ah pack (1,800 Wh by our arithmetic, 60 × 30) at 7 hours. Eunorau’s FAQ gives 10 to 55 °C as its batteries’ best operating range, so charge it indoors in a Canadian winter.

Does the Eunorau S1 have pedals?

No. It has footpegs and a twist throttle. If you want pedals on an electric dirt bike, the Riding Times GT73 has them.

How much does the Eunorau S1 weigh, and what is its weight limit?

Eunorau lists 69 kg (152 lb) for the bike and a load capacity of 100 kg (220 lb) for the rider and everything they wear and carry.

Has the Eunorau S1 been recalled?

No. On November 6, 2026 we searched Health Canada, the US CPSC, the EU Safety Gate and the UK Office for Product Safety and Standards for Eunorau, “Eunorau S1” and “S1 dirt bike”; none returned a record, and each register’s control search returned results.

Is Eunorau a good brand?

No regulator we searched names Eunorau, and Eunorau Canada publishes a 24-month+ limited warranty that covers manufacturing defects, with 10 years on the frame. Its second Canadian warranty page prints shorter terms (details above), so call us for the current term. Our US sister store, RedTail eBikes, has reviewed the S1 (RedTail eBikes’ Eunorau S1 review).

Before you buy from Zeus

Can you buy the Eunorau S1 in Canada?

Yes, here. We ship it free across Canada, from Canada: orders are processed in 1–3 business days and delivered in 2–7, depending on where you live. We do not ship to P.O. boxes; if you live in a remote community, call us before you order.

Can I return the Eunorau S1?

Our refund policy accepts unused and unopened items within 15 days of delivery, with a 15% restocking fee unless the return is our error; you pay the return shipping. If a returned bike has been used or ridden, fees may be deducted from the refund for depreciation, usage or repairs, and the return can be refused, so check the fit before the first ride.

Who handles a warranty claim on the S1?

We do. Email support@zeusebikes.ca with your order number and photos, and we present the claim to Eunorau for you. Your first month of Zeus Care is included; Zeus Care plans of 1, 2, 3 or 5 years ($119 to $599) are a service, and in our warranty page’s words Zeus Care “is not a warranty and does not add coverage” (Warranty Policy & Zeus Care).

Can I finance the Eunorau S1?
