1. It does nothing on a dual-motor Freesky. Freesky states it outright: this controller “will not deliver any performance improvement on dual-motor models.” By Freesky’s own category listings, the dual-motor bikes are the Warrior Pro M-530, the Eurostar Turbo M-410, the Ranger Air M-540 and the Ranger Plus M-540 — and Freesky offers no variant of this controller for the Warrior Pro, the Ranger or the Cheetah at all. The trap is the Eurostar: the “Eurostar” option suits the single-motor Eurostar Ultra M-410 and its 3,000W peak rear hub — not the dual-motor Eurostar Turbo M-410. 2. It changes your warranty position. Zeus’s published warranty policy states that replacing an original part or altering the bike — and it names aftermarket controllers and speed derestriction, or “delimiting”, specifically — voids coverage on every system it connects to: controller, wiring harness, display and motor. Where You Can Legally Ride It

Straight answer: not on public roads as a bicycle. Canadian e-bike rules are set provincially (the former federal definition was repealed effective February 4, 2021) and converge on the Power-Assisted Bicycle limits — 500W nominal, assist ending at 32 km/h, operable pedals. Every Freesky model this part fits already exceeds the 500W nominal figure as sold, so none of them meet the PAB definition before you change anything. Unlocking the throttle removes the other element too.

The practical consequence: a bike ridden with the throttle unlocked would be treated on a public road as a motor vehicle requiring a licence, plates and insurance.
