A 60Ah Battery, a Rear Seat With a Backrest and 2,000W Peak, on 20×4.0 Fat Tires.

The X7 Pro New gets its range from one very large pack: 60 amp-hours. Tesway sells it as the 52V 60Ah option (about 3,120 Wh by our arithmetic) and rates it for up to 320 km in its own flat-road test, and the rest of the bike is set up for carrying: a rear seat with a backrest comes in the box, the back end rides on dual spring shocks, and the front on a 120 mm fork with hydraulic lockout.

Power comes from one 1,000W rear hub motor, 2,000W peak and 100 N·m in Tesway’s figures, through a Shimano 7-speed drivetrain and a 52T chainring with a double guard. Four-piston hydraulic brakes on 203 mm rotors stop it, 20×4.0 Kenda fat tires with reflective sidewall strips carry it, and an NFC card unlocks the colour display, which has a USB charging port.

Against the Tesway bikes we already carry, it costs $800 less than the X7 AWD and $900 less than the X5 AWD and X9 Ultra (Zeus prices, October 2026). What you give up is the second motor and some payload; the comparison below shows both. This is Tesway’s new non-folding X7 Pro: the folding X7 Pro in the online reviews we found is the earlier model, and Tesway Canada no longer lists it.

🎁 Included with your X7 Pro New from Zeus

  • The 6-piece accessory kit Tesway lists for this bike: water bottle holder, phone mount, rear bag, bike lock, brake pads and a rearview mirror.
  • A 2-year Zeus Care plan ($229 value), on top of the first month every Zeus e-bike includes. We diagnose problems, file and follow warranty claims with Tesway, and coordinate parts. Zeus Care is our service: it is not a warranty and does not add parts coverage.
  • No code needed: we add both to every X7 Pro New order. You do not need to pick the 2-year option in the Zeus Care box on this page; that plan is already included with this bike.
  • Price: matched to Tesway Canada’s own listed price for the X7 Pro New, read 6 October 2026.

🔋 Read this about the battery and the range

  • 52V or 48V: the battery option Tesway Canada sells, its headline specs and its title say 52V 60Ah; its Canadian spec tab says 48V 60Ah, and its range chart says 2,880 Wh; its US page for the same bike says 52V 60AH. The 58.8V charger it lists matches a 52V pack. We list the 52V 60Ah option it sells; call us before you order if the difference matters to you.
  • The 320 km figure: Tesway’s range slide says it was measured with a 74 kg rider on a flat road, on throttle only and pedal-assist level 1. A passenger, cargo, hills, cold and higher assist all bring it down.
  • More figures Tesway prints twice: weight (50 kg in the spec tab, 48 kg on the size chart), charger current (5 A in the text, 6 A on its graphic) and a full charge (about 10 hours in its US spec table, 6 hours in the manual it links). We show both wherever they come up.

⚠️ Canadian legal note: read this before you buy

Canada has had no federal e-bike definition since the federal power-assisted-bicycle definition was repealed effective February 4, 2021. E-bike rules are provincial, and they converge on a 500W motor and 32 km/h of assisted speed (Nova Scotia’s statute says 30 km/h). Tesway rates the X7 Pro New’s motor at 1,000W (2,000W peak) and lists a 52 km/h top speed, so it is not a power-assisted bicycle in any province.

Treat it as an off-road machine: private land, off-road trails that permit it, and land you have permission to ride. What riding it on a public road would require differs by province, and so do the rules on carrying a passenger, so check yours first.

Watch: Tesway’s Unboxing and Assembly Video

Tesway’s own video walks through unboxing and assembling the X5 Pro and X7 Pro. It is filmed on the step-through X5 Pro; Tesway says the two models differ in the frame and share the rest. We have not filmed a review of the X7 Pro New.

Why One 60Ah Pack Changes the Math

A dual-battery bike gives you two packs to carry inside and charge. The X7 Pro New puts the capacity in one pack, which Tesway weighs at 12.7 kg (28 lb), and spends the rest of its design on carrying weight:

  • Fewer charges. Tesway describes the pack as made for “ultra-long shifts, fewer charges”; how far you get depends on load, terrain, assist and temperature. Long-range e-bikes in Canada, compared →
  • Range per dollar. At $2,099 it works out to about $0.67 per watt-hour at 3,120 Wh, or $0.73 at the spec tab’s 2,880 Wh (Zeus price, October 2026).
  • A rear seat that comes in the box. Tesway’s box list includes a “Backed Seat” (on the X7 AWD and X5 AWD it is sold separately). The manual Tesway links for this bike calls it “designed for regular country road use for a single person”, so read the passenger question below before you carry anyone.
  • Suspension at both ends. A 120 mm fork with hydraulic lockout in front and dual spring shocks behind, for a bike that may carry 160 kg.

Key Features

  • 1,000W rear hub motor, 2,000W peak, 100 N·m — Tesway’s figures, with a 52 km/h top speed, five pedal-assist levels and a throttle. One motor in the rear wheel keeps it lighter than Tesway’s dual-motor X7 AWD (50 kg against 54 kg in Tesway’s figures). E-bike wattage in Canada, explained →
  • 60Ah battery — Sold as 52V 60Ah (about 3,120 Wh), with the 48V figure in Tesway’s spec tab noted above. The pack weighs 12.7 kg, and a 58.8V charger refills it. Zeus also sells Tesway’s 48V/52V 60Ah spare battery.
  • Suspension front and rear — A 120 mm fork with a hydraulic lockout (lock it on smooth surfaces, open it on rough ground) and dual rear spring shocks under the seat platform.
  • Four-piston hydraulic disc brakes, 203 mm rotors — Front and rear, on 2.3 mm rotors. Large rotors and four-piston calipers suit a heavy bike carrying a load downhill.
  • 20×4.0 Kenda fat tires — Puncture-resistant layers and reflective sidewall strips, in Tesway’s description. Wide tires spread the load on sand and soft ground. Fat tire e-bikes in Canada →
  • Shimano 7-speed, 52T chainring with a double guard — Seven gears for climbing and cruising; the guard keeps the chain on and trouser legs clean.
  • Non-folding patented frame and one-piece handlebar — Tesway moved the X7 Pro to a solid frame with no hinge and a BMX-style bar, and added water bottle mounts.
  • NFC card unlock and USB port — Tap a card at the colour display to start the bike; two keys also come in the box. The display has a USB charging port for your phone. E-bike theft protection in Canada →
  • Integrated headlight with horn — An LED headlight with a built-in electric horn, plus front and rear lights in Tesway’s spec, an extra-wide comfort saddle and full-aluminum pedals.

Everything Included

Tesway’s list of what comes in the box:

  • The X7 Pro New
  • Rear seat with backrest (“Backed Seat”)
  • Charger (58.8V)
  • 2 keys
  • Toolkit box
  • User manual

Tesway’s US page for the same bike lists more: e-bike, manual, toolkit, battery, charger, headlight, display, front and rear fenders, horn, seat, 2 reflectors, 2 NFC cards and left and right pedals, with the “Backed Seat” in its spec tab.

Added by Zeus: the 6-piece accessory kit and a 2-year Zeus Care plan (see the offer above).

Tesway does not publish a pre-assembly percentage; its video above shows the final assembly steps. Tesway’s baskets, child safety handrails and platform are accessories sold separately, for example the front basket, child safety handrail fence and foldable platform.

The Honest Take: What We’d Change

  1. Tesway’s pages disagree with themselves. The battery is 52V in the option you buy and on its US page, and 48V in its Canadian spec tab; the weight is 50 kg or 48 kg; the charger is 5 A or 6 A; a full charge takes about 10 hours (US spec table) or 6 hours (manual). We print both figures each time. If one of them decides it for you, call us before you order.
  2. The UL claim is on Tesway’s US page, not its Canadian one. Tesway’s US page for this bike says “The entire e-bike system is UL 2849 certified by TÜV, while the battery pack is UL 2271 certified”; its Canadian X7 Pro New page does not repeat it. If your building, insurer or condo board asks for UL 2849, ask us to confirm with Tesway before you order.
  3. The box and the manual disagree on passengers. A backed rear seat is in the box; the manual Tesway links calls the bike “designed for regular country road use for a single person”.
  4. It is heavy. 48–50 kg with a 12.7 kg battery and 186 cm long. Carrying it up stairs or onto a rack is a two-person job.
  5. Riding for a delivery app? Read the warranty first. Tesway’s marketing talks about delivery shifts, and its warranty excludes damage from “commercial use”. Ask us before you order if that is your plan.
  6. A few things are not published. A water rating, an operating-temperature range and a passenger weight limit for this model (the 75 kg figure comes from the FAQ Tesway wrote for the earlier folding X7 Pro). We say so where each comes up rather than guess.

None of that changes what the X7 Pro New is for: covering long distances on one battery with a second seat and suspension at both ends, for $800–$900 less than the dual-motor Tesways we carry.

Choose the X7 Pro New if…

You want the most battery per dollar here, a backed rear seat in the box and suspension front and rear, and one motor is enough.

Choose the X7 AWD if…

You want drive at both wheels on sand, gravel and loose climbs and a 400 lb payload, on a step-over frame.

Choose the X5 AWD if…

You want the same dual-motor power and battery as the X7 AWD on a step-through frame that is easier to mount.

Choose the X9 Ultra if…

You ride mountain trails and want the most power and torque here on 26-inch tires, and range matters less.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Tesway X7 Pro New street-legal in Canada?

Not as an e-bike. Canada has had no federal e-bike definition since the federal power-assisted-bicycle definition was repealed effective February 4, 2021, so e-bike rules are provincial, and they converge on a 500W motor and 32 km/h of assisted speed (Nova Scotia’s statute says 30 km/h). Tesway rates the X7 Pro New’s motor at 1,000W (2,000W peak) and lists a 52 km/h top speed, so it is not a power-assisted bicycle in any province. Tesway’s US page for this bike describes a factory-locked mode that it says “complies with 250W and 25 km/h limits”; a lock does not change the 1,000W rating Tesway gives the motor. Treat it as an off-road machine for private land, off-road trails that permit it and land you have permission to ride, and check your province’s rules before any public-road use, including the rules on carrying a passenger. Our Canadian e-bike law guide →

Is the battery 52V or 48V?

Tesway’s page gives both. The battery option it sells, its headline specs and its product title say 52V 60Ah, which is about 3,120 Wh (52 × 60, our arithmetic). Its spec tab says 48V 60Ah, and its range chart says 2,880 Wh. The charger it lists, 58.8V, is the full-charge voltage of a 52V lithium pack (14 cells in series at 4.2 V each, our arithmetic). Tesway’s US page for the same bike, sold there as the X7 PRO, says 52V 60AH in both its spec table and its spec tab. We list the option Tesway Canada sells, 52V 60Ah. If the difference matters to you (it is about 8% of the stored energy), call 1-866-938-7580 before you order and we will check with Tesway.

How far will it go on one charge?

Tesway rates it at up to 320 km (its spec tab says 170–200 miles). Its own range slide shows how that figure was made: a 74 kg (163 lb) rider on a flat road, using the throttle only and pedal-assist level 1. Read it as a best case. A heavier rider, a passenger or cargo, hills, wind, higher assist, soft ground and cold all shorten it; the troubleshooting table in the X5/X7 PRO manual Tesway links from its US page says to “Warm the battery above 0℃ (32℉)” when range falls short in the cold. A full charge takes “About 10 hours” in Tesway’s US spec table for this bike and 6 hours from completely discharged in that manual. Our e-bike battery guide →

How fast does it go, and does it have a throttle?

Tesway lists a 52 km/h top speed (32 mph on its power graphic) with five pedal-assist levels. It has a throttle: Tesway’s range test was run on “Throttle only + PAS 1”, and its twist-throttle install video lists the X7 PRO as compatible. Its US page adds a factory-locked mode at 250W and 25 km/h that unlocks to 52 km/h, and the X5/X7 PRO manual it links describes a half-twist throttle, cruise control in pure-electric mode and assist levels 0–5, and labels the pedal sensor a “Speed Sensor”.

Can it carry a passenger?

It comes with a rear seat and backrest: “Backed Seat” is on Tesway’s list of what is in the box, and its photos show the seat on a rear platform, but the X5/X7 PRO manual Tesway links from its US page says the bike is “designed for regular country road use for a single person”. Ask us or Tesway before you carry anyone. Tesway’s X7 Pro New page does not state a passenger weight limit; its general FAQ, written for the earlier folding X7 Pro, says the rear seat carries an adult up to 75 kg. Rider, passenger and cargo together must stay within the 160 kg (350 lb) maximum payload, and a passenger cuts range and climbing. Passenger rules differ by province and by where you ride, so check yours before you carry anyone, and put a helmet on everyone aboard.

Does it fold, and how heavy is it?

It does not fold. This X7 Pro has Tesway’s new non-folding frame and a one-piece, non-folding handlebar. The folding X7 Pro in the online reviews we found is the earlier model, which Tesway Canada no longer lists. The X7 Pro New weighs 50 kg (110 lb) in Tesway’s spec tab and 48 kg on its size chart, its battery alone weighs 12.7 kg (28 lb), and it is 186 cm long. Moving it by vehicle takes a pickup, a van or a hitch rack rated for its weight, and lifting it is a two-person job.

What rider height does it fit?

Tesway’s size chart recommends riders from 160 to 196 cm (5′3″–6′5″). The saddle sits 85–102 cm above the ground, and Tesway lists a “Standing height” of 62 cm, a 46 cm reach and a 130 cm wheelbase. It is a step-over frame. If you prefer to step through, the Tesway X5 AWD has Tesway’s step-through frame, with two motors. Call us with your height and inseam if you are unsure.

Can I ride it through a Canadian winter?

Tesway’s FAQ, written for the earlier X7 Pro, lists snowfields among the terrain it handles. Neither Tesway’s pages for this bike nor the X5/X7 PRO manual it links give an operating-temperature range; the manual’s troubleshooting table says to “Warm the battery above 0℃ (32℉)” when range falls short in the cold, and Tesway’s manual for its X5/X7 AWD says those bikes are “not intended to be used and stored at ambient temperatures less than 0°C”. Ask us or Tesway before you plan a winter on it. No water rating is published for the bike, and the manual says not to clean it with high-pressure water and to avoid parking it outside in rain or snow; store and charge the battery indoors. Our winter e-bike guide →

When will it arrive?

Shipping is free across Canada. We process orders within 1–3 business days, and delivery takes 2–7 business days depending on where you live; we email tracking when it ships. We ship to addresses Canpar, UPS or FedEx deliver to, and if only FedEx can reach you, we tell you any extra charge before shipping. We do not ship to P.O. boxes or to remote communities. Tesway’s page also says it does not deliver to the Northwest Territories, Nunavut or Yukon, so call us first if you live there. Shipping policy →

What warranty does it come with?

Tesway’s written limited warranty covers manufacturing defects for two years from the day you receive the bike, and Tesway honours it on X7 Pro New bikes sold by Zeus. Tesway’s published terms decide what is covered and what is excluded: the covered parts include the battery, frame, motor, controller, display, brakes and drivetrain, and the exclusions include normal wear (tires, tubes, brake pads, cables, grips, chain and spokes) and damage from accidents, misuse, modification, improper assembly, water, extreme riding, commercial use and not following the owner’s manual, among others. (One summary line on Tesway’s site says “one year after purchase date”; its warranty policy says two years.) We file and follow the claim for you: your first month of Zeus Care is included with every e-bike, and this bike also comes with a 2-year Zeus Care plan. Zeus Care is a service, not added parts coverage. Returns are 15 days from delivery on unused, unopened items, with a 15% restocking fee and return shipping paid by you. Warranty & Zeus Care →

Are there reviews of the X7 Pro New?

None that we found. The video reviews online, from 2024, are of the earlier folding X7 Pro, and the one customer review on Tesway’s page is from an X7 AWD owner. Tesway’s own unboxing and assembly video above is filmed on the X5 Pro, the step-through version of this bike. We have not filmed the X7 Pro New. Call us at 1-866-938-7580 and we will tell you honestly whether it fits what you need.
