Smartravel Raptor ST202 Pro
2,600Wh Dual Battery. Built-In GPS Anti-Theft. 3000W AWD. The Raptor ST202 Pro Is Built Different.
Most dual-motor fat-tire bikes compete on raw wattage. The Raptor ST202 Pro competes on a different axis entirely: it’s the only bike in this comparison that ships with integrated GPS hardware, remote phone-disable, and live anti-theft tracking built into the frame — no aftermarket dongle, no drilling, no separate charge cable. If your bike moves without you, you know immediately, and you can cut the motors from your phone.
Under that security system sits a serious powertrain: 3000W combined peak from dual 1200W brushless geared hub motors running FOC (Field-Oriented Control) for smooth engagement in all three motor modes — front only, rear only, or full AWD. The 52V 50Ah dual-battery system delivers 2,600Wh total — more than double the Eunorau Flash AWD’s standard battery and nearly $1,300 less than the Eahora DL2000 at the same capacity tier. Full suspension via a KKE R150S hydraulic coil fork (140mm travel) and EXA A5-RE rear shock. Hydraulic disc brakes front and rear. UL2849 certified — the complete-system gold standard. IP65 weather rated.
In stock now. Available in Green, Silver Grey, and White. Free Canada-wide shipping — ships within 3–7 business days. 🇨🇦 Ships from Canada · 1-866-938-7580 — real humans answer · 14-day return policy.
🔒 Zeus eBike Security Disclosure — Raptor ST202 Pro
- Integrated GPS hardware? Yes — frame-embedded, not visible or removable without tools.
- Remote motor disable? Yes — app-controlled kill switch from your phone.
- Live tracking? Yes — real-time GPS via Smartravel app; subscription required for live tracking service.
No other bike in this comparison includes integrated GPS. Aftermarket trackers require installation, charge separately, and are visible to a motivated thief.
⚠️ Canadian Legal Note: The Raptor ST202 Pro’s 3000W peak power and 56 km/h top speed exceed Canada’s Power-Assisted Bicycle limits (500W nominal / 32 km/h). It is not street-legal as a bicycle on public roads — off-road, private property, and closed-course use only. Provincial rules vary. See our Canadian eBike laws guide → | For a street-legal AWD option: Eahora Romeo II →
Watch Our Winter Riding Review
We tested eBikes including the Raptor ST202 Pro in real Canadian winter conditions — sub-zero temperatures, packed snow, and icy surfaces. This is what the numbers look like in practice.
Why the Raptor ST202 Pro Sits in a Category of One
At this price point, dual-motor fat-tire bikes are common. Dual-motor fat-tire bikes with GPS anti-theft, dual-battery standard configuration, full suspension, and UL2849 system certification are not. Here’s what that combination means for a Canadian rider:
- GPS is not a luxury at this power level. A 3000W AWD bike that moves at 56 km/h is worth protecting. Built-in GPS with remote disable is a meaningful deterrent that aftermarket trackers — which thieves know to look for — cannot replicate.
- 2,600Wh is genuinely rare at this price. The Eunorau Flash AWD starts at 832Wh for $330 more. The Eahora DL2000 carries 1,560Wh for $1,300 more. The Raptor ships with the full dual-battery pack as standard — no upgrade required.
- UL2849 matters for Canadian storage. Apartment buildings and parking garages across Canadian cities increasingly require UL-certified eBikes for indoor storage. The Raptor qualifies. Several competitors in this comparison do not publish certification status.
- Full suspension, not token rubber bumps. The KKE R150S coil fork with 140mm adjustable travel and the EXA A5-RE rear shock handle roots, rocks, and rutted trails at speed. This is trail-capable suspension at a price where most bikes cut corners on the rear end.
Key Features
- Dual 1200W Brushless Geared Hub Motors (3000W Peak Combined) — Front and rear motors run on FOC (Field-Oriented Control) for smooth, jerk-free engagement. Three selectable modes via the Smartravel app: front motor only for light use and maximum range; rear motor only for traditional rear-drive feel; full AWD for technical terrain, steep climbs, and loose-surface traction. At 150 Nm combined, the system climbs steep grades that would bog down single-motor bikes under heavy load.
- 52V 50Ah Dual-Battery System (2,600Wh) — Two batteries run in parallel as a unified 52V system with Samsung/LG lithium-ion cells rated for 800 cycles to 80% capacity — roughly 3–5 years of regular riding before meaningful degradation. Both packs are removable for indoor charging, which matters in Canadian winters (cold kills battery capacity; indoor storage recovers it). The fast charger (58.8V 3A) replenishes both packs in 5–6 hours.
- Integrated GPS Anti-Theft with App Control — The GPS module is embedded in the frame. The Smartravel app provides: real-time position tracking, geofencing alerts (notification the moment the bike leaves a preset area), overspeed alarms, 7-day ride history, navigation, and remote motor disable. The motor kill works from anywhere with a cell signal. Live GPS tracking requires a subscription through Smartravel — call us at 1-866-938-7580 for current rates before ordering if this is a deciding factor.
- KKE R150S Hydraulic Coil Fork (140mm) + EXA A5-RE Rear Shock — Full suspension front and rear with named, spec-verified components — not anonymous OEM forks. The KKE R150S has adjustable compression and rebound for tuning to rider weight and terrain. The EXA A5-RE rear shock handles the added stress of the dual-motor drivetrain without bottoming out on larger hits. Recommended for riders 5′6”–6′3” at a 33-inch seat height.
- Hydraulic Disc Brakes (180mm Rotors, Front & Rear, Motor Cutoff) — At 56.2 kg (123.7 lbs) and 56 km/h, braking is a safety-critical spec, not a marketing checkbox. Hydraulic discs self-adjust for consistent lever feel as pads wear; mechanical discs require cable adjustment every few weeks of regular use. Motor cutoff on brake engagement stops drive power the instant you squeeze a lever — no fighting active motors while braking downhill.
- UL2849 Complete-System Certification — UL2849 covers the entire electrical system: motor, battery, charger, controller, and wiring as a unified assembly. This is the full-system standard (distinct from UL2271, which covers the battery alone). Required for indoor storage in many Canadian building codes and increasingly required by insurers for eBike coverage.
- IP65 Weather Rating — Total protection against dust; sustained protection against low-pressure water jets from any direction. Ride in rain, splash through puddles, hose down after a muddy session. Not rated for full submersion — avoid deep water crossings or stream fording.
- Smart LCD Display with Integrated USB-A Charging — The display shows battery level, speed, distance, pedal-assist level, and motor mode. The built-in USB-A port charges a phone or GPS watch mid-ride — no separate power bank needed on full-day sessions.
- 20” × 4.0” All-Terrain Fat Tires (Unibody Puncture Protection) — The 4.0-inch width floats over sand, loose mud, and packed snow where 2.5–3.0-inch tires sink and spin. The unibody tyre carcass resists punctures without a separate liner — one less maintenance item. The 20-inch wheel diameter keeps the bike compact and manoeuvrable in tight off-road situations.
- Shimano 7-Speed Drivetrain — Provides a usable gear range for pedal-only riding and pedal-assist on varied terrain. The rear derailleur integrates with the hub motor system without interference. Shift to a lower gear before stopping — a habit that protects the derailleur and makes re-starting on hills effortless.

The Honest Take — What We’d Change
Three honest trade-offs before you buy:
- The weight is real. 56.2 kg (123.7 lbs) with both batteries is the manufacturer’s published spec — heavier than the Freesky Cheetah MT-380 (~55 kg) despite comparable battery size, because the Raptor carries two full battery packs and two hub motor assemblies. Plan for a loading ramp and a second person when transporting. This is not a bike you load solo into a truck bed regularly.
- The GPS subscription adds an ongoing cost. The hardware is excellent and built-in — we’d prefer a one-time activation fee over a recurring subscription for live tracking. That said, the remote motor-disable (which does not require a constant live subscription) partially offsets this concern as a theft-deterrent that works once configured.
- Top speed is mid-class, not class-leading. 56 km/h (35 MPH) is the manufacturer’s rated figure. The Freesky Cheetah MT-380 reaches 61 km/h and the YVY C20 Pro reaches 59.5 km/h. For most trail riders, the 3–5 km/h gap is irrelevant. For speed-focused buyers, it’s worth knowing up front.
The trade-offs are worth it specifically for riders who want GPS security and a large standard battery in one package. No other bike in this comparison delivers both from the factory at this price point.

Who Is This Bike For?
- Off-road riders who park in cities between sessions — You trail ride on weekends but lock up in urban areas during the week. Built-in GPS with geofencing alerts and remote motor kill gives you meaningful theft protection that a U-lock alone cannot. You’ll know if the bike moves before it’s gone. See our pedal assist vs throttle guide → if you’re new to configuring power modes.
- Heavy-load AWD riders (up to 350 lbs) — The dual-motor system distributes drive force across both wheels. Sand, mud, and loose gravel that spins a rear-drive-only bike become manageable with the front motor adding traction. At 150 Nm combined, the Raptor climbs steeper terrain under heavier loads than a single-motor setup. See our guide to eBikes for heavier riders →
- Canadian winter trail riders who need serious range — The 2,600Wh dual-battery absorbs winter’s 20–30% range penalty without dropping below usable range. At −10°C expect 42–80 km — still meaningful for a full trail session. The 4.0-inch fat tires handle packed snow and light winter trails confidently. See our Canadian winter eBike guide →
- High-power buyers on a budget — At $2,499, the Raptor ST202 Pro is the lowest entry point in this comparison for a full-suspension, GPS-equipped, UL2849-certified dual-motor system. The Eahora DL2000 costs $1,300 more. The Romeo II costs $1,600 more. The power-per-dollar ratio is the Raptor’s core value proposition.
Who it’s NOT for: Riders who need a street-legal bike on public roads — see the Eahora Romeo II → (PAB-compliant AWD). Riders who must load the bike solo (123.7 lbs rules out single-person truck loading) — the Eunorau Flash AWD → at 82–92 lbs is more manageable. Riders who prioritise peak speed over security — the YVY C20 Pro → (59.5 km/h) and the Freesky Cheetah MT-380 → (61 km/h) are faster. See our wattage guide for Canadian riders → to compare power tiers.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Smartravel Raptor ST202 Pro legal to ride on public roads in Canada?
No. Its 3000W peak power and 56 km/h top speed exceed Canada’s PAB limits (500W nominal / 32 km/h). Off-road, private property, and closed-course use only. Provincial rules vary — always check with your local authority. Canadian eBike laws by province → | Street-legal AWD alternative: Eahora Romeo II →
Does the GPS require a monthly subscription?
The GPS hardware is built into the frame and costs nothing extra. Live tracking (real-time position on your phone) requires a Smartravel app subscription. Remote motor-disable is app-controlled once configured. Call 1-866-938-7580 for current subscription pricing if this affects your decision.
What’s the realistic range in Canadian conditions?
Smartravel rates 80–100 miles (130–160 km). Zeus estimates 60–100 km in mixed real-world riding. At −10°C: approximately 42–80 km (Zeus estimate, not manufacturer figure). Running single-motor mode on flat terrain extends range significantly. See our winter eBike range guide →
How heavy is it? Can I transport it myself?
56.2 kg (123.7 lbs) with both batteries. Loading solo into a truck bed is difficult — bring a ramp or a second person. The bike does not fold. If portability matters, see the Eunorau Flash AWD → at 82–92 lbs.
Can I run just one motor to extend range?
Yes — the Smartravel app lets you switch between front-only, rear-only, or full AWD. Single-motor on flat terrain measurably extends battery life. Full AWD is best for technical terrain, steep climbs, and low-traction surfaces.
What warranty do I get?
1-year all-inclusive manufacturer warranty from Smartravel (excludes accessories and batteries) + Zeus 1-month support warranty. Extended options: 1-yr ($59), 2-yr ($119), 3-yr ($169), 5-yr ($299). Call 1-866-938-7580 to add coverage at purchase.
Is it good for snow and winter riding?
The 20×4.0-inch fat tires and AWD system handle packed snow well. IP65 protects against rain and splash, not submersion. In sub-zero temps, expect 20–30% range reduction; store the battery indoors overnight in extreme cold. Full Canadian winter eBike guide →
Can I finance it?
Yes — Zeus offers financing options across 12–48 months. See the eBike financing guide → or call 1-866-938-7580 for current terms before ordering.
