How to Order — Two Steps

- Email us your bike model and serial number so we can match the exact motor to your bike before it ships.
The serial number is usually stamped on the bottom bracket or printed on a sticker on the seat tube or down tube. If you can’t find it, call us and we’ll walk you through it.
Shipping & Delivery
- Delivery: Up to 4 weeks after we confirm your motor match. Replacement motors are built and shipped to order from the factory — this is normal for OEM parts.
- Shipping: Free Canada-wide shipping
- Tracking: Tracking email sent once the motor leaves the factory
- Installation: We recommend installation by a qualified e-bike technician. Hub motor swaps require torque-arm setup, brake re-bleeding (rear), and proper cable routing.

A: Mechanically, yes — if you’ve done a hub motor swap before. Practically, we recommend a qualified e-bike technician. Hub motor installation involves cassette transfer, spoke lacing if you’re reusing the wheel, brake rotor alignment, torque-arm setup, and cable routing through the frame. A botched install can damage the new motor.
Q: Why does shipping take up to 4 weeks?
A: Replacement motors are built and shipped from the Freesky factory to order, matched to your specific bike model. We don’t hold motor inventory in Canada because there are too many variants — doing it this way means you get the exact right motor for your bike instead of a close-enough substitute.
Q: What if I order the wrong variant?
A: This is exactly why we ask for your model and serial number after you order. If the variant you selected doesn’t match your bike, we’ll catch it before the order ships and switch you to the right one at no charge.
