Things to Know Before You Buy
- Single battery, no dual-battery option. One 48V 20Ah pack. No factory dual-battery configuration available.
- Cadence sensor, not torque sensor. Pedal assist activates based on crank rotation, not pedalling force. Engages on/off rather than progressively.
- Steel frame — ~64 lbs. Heavier than aluminum-frame eBikes. Not designed for stair-carrying.
- Provincial e-bike rules apply. Verify your province’s power-assisted bicycle speed limit before riding on public roads or paths. See Canadian eBike laws by province.
- Warranty is tiered by part — not a flat 1-year-everything. Motor, battery, controller, and frame: 12 months. Charger: 6 months. Display, front suspension, rear shock: 3 months. Zeus adds 1-month limited coverage on top. Frame is repaired under warranty; other covered parts are replaced. Warranty service is handled by Zeus support — keep your order confirmation. Extended warranty (1–5 years) available as an add-on at checkout.
- Minimum seat height: 36 inches. Listed rider height range is 5’7" – 6’5". Riders shorter than 5’7" generally do not fit.
- Looks like a moped. Visibility in some municipalities is higher than for discreet commuter eBikes. Provincial e-bike laws apply.

Q: What’s the actual range?
Manufacturer-listed range is 65–120 km. Customers have reported real-world range of 25–70 km — well below the manufacturer figure. Range varies with rider weight, terrain, temperature, tire pressure, wind, and assist mode. Cold weather reduces lithium-ion battery range further.
Q: How does the warranty work?
The manufacturer warranty is tiered by part:
